Zoolights

All the cookies of the rainbow

wrapped lovingly around trees.

Caricatures of animals

flash through scenes of play

while guests walk by.

Children’s laughter and

adults admiration is heard

as displays change colours

in time with seasonal songs.

Most animals are sleeping,

hiding from the excitement,

but a few brave creatures

poke their heads out to say hello.

S’mores and hot cocoa and apple cider

all available for purchase

to provide further delight.

It’s a winter wonderland

when you visit Zoolights.

Chicago Spotlight: Zoolights

The annual Lincoln Park Zoolights are back! Accessible through public transportation with the UPass, the Lincoln Park Zoo's Zoolights is one of Chicago's best holiday traditions. Not only can you check out the light display (made of 2.5 million light bulbs!), but you can also enjoy other activities including a holiday market, live music, and a New Year's Eve celebration.
