Need to brag a bit because I don't usually work on birds in the lab, but I did a goose wing today & was really pleased with it. The first photo is the underside of the wing (the bird's left wing) where I cut it open to remove muscle tissue (so it will dry out without rotting) & then sewed it back together. Can you tell?? The second photo is the finished wing, pinned out & ready to dry. It is the top of the wing. This particular goose was at a wildlife rehab but was too badly injured.
