chinese 1— intensive edition
So I’ve just about completed 3 weeks of a summer intensive Chinese course, and surprisingly, I can say that I’ve made a decent amount of progress. There’s 2 more classes in the series to total to 15 credits, so it is heavy on the units.
We learned basic sentence order and structure, pronouns, nouns, verbs, particles, and adjectives. It’s honestly a whole different world. But hey, I can kinda keep up in a basic conversation for at least 8 minutes. Woo. 你好, 我叫黄俊义。
For me, I learned German in high school and my mind was easily able to adapt to the nuances because they reflected English in a way. Chinese doesn’t really let me do that.
But this is just one out of three anyways. I should get back to studying. Peace out.
