[Jump cut to Teresa pouring the entire bag of sugar into her mouth. Remy and Zora are sharing a lollipop. Mestek is crunching on a bag of Barbecue Chips. Meanwhile, somewhere else, Alpha is enjoying a fine meal of steak and chocolate cake.]
MESTEK: -^v- Short answer: Yes, we can! We suspect that being dead means we have no need for normal bodily functions, meaning we don’t ever get hungry. But we can eat and taste stuff, it just doesn’t have an effect on their ghostly bodies.
ZORA:...

[Zora is looking down, a scowl on her face, Remy holding her. Mestek steps forward, looking a little worried, before sighing.]
TA: -^v- Rune is still alive. When we heard the news of the Scratch, Teresa killed Hope and then herself. Tarbhi was lost to the void…
[He looks contemplative and sad.]
TA: -^v- The rest of us got hit by the scratchy wave, and then… well, we woke up dead. If anyone else died in a different way, I sure don’t know.
