Idia knew there was no damn way he'd get Zorro to accept his confession without them being sleep deprived and not able to spiral. So the ZorIdia confession scene is thus aka I heard this audio and thought of them and it cracked me up I had to draw it right away.
Anyway Ignore the small grammar mistake at the start- or any others, Im tired and made this when I honestly should have just went to bed- I feel like Z at the end of the animation lol-
Anyhow, my chibi style is as consistent as water lmao- I redrew chibi Idia twice for both times he appeared, the top of Idia's head just gave me troubles lol- but that might just be because im barely running here-
Okay i've had this Idea for ages for a swap au where Idia and Zorro or the techno humans while Ortho's human. we're gonna call it 'swap the trauma' for this post cause I wanted to lmao-
anyway Idia design is inspired by @//inkudraws [whom I won't tag tag because this is a yumeship post, love this artist tho so go check 'em out] swap shroud au Idia design.
You know I had to Give Idia those high heels lol-
Anyway this au is sorta like a twist on the one au I one of posted with zoridia go check it out if you want context for that. But instead of ortho just being saved in that au, Idia and Zorro both put themselves at risk to save him and end up dying. So he turns them into techno humans so he can keep them with him and to cope with the trauma. Zorro's much more quieter and grumpy in this au and Idia's much more loud with his presence.
The bows are just from Ortho being silly and Idia and Zorro just never took them off because the bows were technically the first gift Ortho gave them as techno humans
I swear to fuck if I try to draw Idia's hair in the dark like this again, someone better hit me over the back of the head with a baseball bat ASAP-

Whatever, Have Zoridia getting caught making out in a closet at S.T.Y.X. or smth, I had a funny headliner for this but that went out the window along with my sanity.

Swap au with Idia and Zorro, where Zorro's housewarden [and S.T.Y.X heir] while Idia is the magicless student from another world that gets thrown into Ignihyde dorm instead of Ramshackle. [basically he gets thrown in place of Yuu in all but dorm. Also Ortho is in this au, but he's just a computer program/AI that Idia made on his phone after his brother died in his world that Zorro will eventually make a mecha body for so Ortho can physically be there with Idia]
Yes, Idia's hair is dyed blue. I wanted him to still have the blue hair but since he's magicless in this au, I thought it being dyed made sense. Than him having black hair naturally made sense as well since I couldn't think of a 'natural' hair color that would fit him other than black.
Also Zorro still can't overblot in this au, all I really changed about them is lowered their anxiety, made twst their birth place, made them housewarden, and altered their outtfit. So in book 6, It's Zorro's younger sister who overblots at S.T.Y.X [Zam I'm looking at you.] Also Idia is 17 in this au, decided to make him the same age as Zorro [who's a second year] since him being a first year and 18-19 felt a little odd so I bumped him down to 17 since joining a year late felt more manageable to me, plus swap au lol.
'Conversation' that happened in my head:
3rd year Ignihyde student leading the new first years[minus Idia, Z found him first lol]: "And than there's our Housewarden, in a good mood, messing with one of you newbies. We call them Boss but their name's Zorro, anyway next we have-"
Cue a bunch of first years either staring in confusion or snickering at their apparent housewarden having fun messing with one of their fellow first years as they pass by:

Alt au for my yumeship au where Zorro gets thrown into twst at a young age and gets taken in my S.T.Y.X to be studied since they can't overblot and met a young Idia who become their friend. [Ortho's alive in this au]
Also I really like automata irl, I have never sat down to study them or anything but they fascinate me I like them more than modern technology, so if I was in twst I'd totally study automata instead of the high tech that Ignihyde normally does. It's still tech just different kind. I also feel like Malleus would really like automata, someone needs to introduce that man to automata.
anyway Idia's like a year older than me [pre book 7], so In this specific part of this au, Idia's 11 and Zorro's 10. [Ortho's 8 btw since Idia is canonly like 3 years older than him]
And because this version of Zorro has been in twisted wonderland longer, by time they get to NRC [which their in the right year of] They great sevens have already 'contracted a deal' with Zorro, so they have their signature spells and proficiencies in certain magics already. [Which I will explain in a later post so hush hush.] so instead of popping up one at a time before their desendants overblot and throwing that whole thing at Zorro [poor baby], they see baby[10 y/o] Zorro and go "aww just a little babyyyy, Must adopt-" so they one by one teach Zorro how to use their gifted magic in the spare free time Zorro has while at S.T.Y.X
[10 year old me would have long hair yes I know know, hush hush. But it doesn't feel right to draw myself even an alternate version of myself with long hair now that I have mine short irl, so baby Zorro gets to keep the short hair with the green, just shoulder length so it's still short but not as short. compromise]
