Coffee Sounds

So it FINALLY HAPPENED!! I had my first performance as a solo artist in this cute coffee shop in downtown Saint Paul. and WOW... it could have gone way better.

but I didn't quit and pushed my boundaries, stop bullshitting myself for once and did something i am very proud of. 

When my friend first told me about the opportunities at Claddagh i was terrified. I actually told her that I wasn't going to do it, I wasn't ready yet, that everything didn't sound like how I wanted it. But now reflecting on that thought, nothing is ever going to really sound the way I ultimately want it; at least right now it wont.

However those 8 very brave people who came out and stayed said they actually like my original stuff and they liked the sound of my voice. I was elated just by that notion alone.  

So on this second step I’m going to continue to move forward to press on and push myself. I have to.
