pernah nggak excited beli skincare baru, pakai dengan penuh harapan, eh... beberapa hari kemudian malah muncul jerawat di mana-mana? 😭 rasanya pengen langsung buang produknya & nangis. aku pernah ngalamin & paham banget rasanya.

tapi — jangan buru-buru buang! breakout setelah ganti produk itu nggak selalu berarti produknya jelek. kadang malah tanda produknya BEKERJA (namanya "skin purging"). kadang emang tanda nggak cocok. yang penting paham bedanya dulu.

🌱 purging = reaksi sementara saat bahan aktif (retinol, AHA/BHA, vit C) "mempercepat" regenerasi sel kulit. kotoran yang tadinya terpendam jadi naik ke permukaan lebih cepat. anggap aja kulit lagi "bersih-bersih besar".

🚫 breakout asli = reaksi NEGATIF kulit terhadap produk — entah nggak cocok, iritasi, atau menyumbat pori. ini sinyal buat STOP.

Nintendo Switch Online (Game Boy) - Beat 4/25/2026

I will say this. This game is fun. Simple enough.

For those who are not familiar, Alleyway is basically just a clone of good old Breakout if anyone at all remembers that. There have been a MULTITUDE of clones and free flash variants throughout the years that I remember.

This is no different. It is just as simple as the original. you have a paddle, a ball, and some blocks to get rid of. All of the blocks are simple needing to only take one hit to get rid of and there are no powerups to deal with as opposed to later variants of the game introducing things like various upgrades and downgrades to get and/or having blocks that require various number of hits to get rid of. So this is just the game in its most simplest form.

I do wish there was more Nintendo Influence besides just a couple of stage layouts, it does feel like that it was a very early GB game and thus didn't have a lot of data to use for a lot of the layouts, but I feel like though they should have themed it more instead of just the small Mario bits on rare occasion. But I am spoiled a little bit by Kirby's Block Ball too which is also a Breakout style game.

Either way, another fun and interesting timekiller and history dive as well.
