α - I'm a statistical nerd, though I have trouble admitting it at times.α - My dreams are literally storylines. My inspiration for Zorua getting kidnapped came from one of these dreams.

Ω - Zorua loves to sing to herself while doing activities alone to entertain herself.Ω - Rose is actually a feral. She was taken in and raised by "Mama Zoroark", but she still gets feral impulses if frightened terribly or driven to extreme anger.Ω - Zigzag was an HM Slave that was released by his trainer.

Fun Fact: In this post, Zorua was originally going to say, "I-I don’t really like these guys… They make fun of my blindness and are really rude… But they started saying some weird stuff to me and keep calling me a cutie and stuff. It's really scary!" This was changed at the last moment due to the implications of this phrase.

Fun Fact: I actually didn't intend to actually have Zorua crush on Kai in the first place. When Kai was coming around to speak, I was going to have Zorua speak with Kai regularly like she does everyone else. During the part where Zorua was still depressed that the first A!M wore off, I was planning to have Zorua reassure him she was alright and take off. But when I found a ref of Kai, I was like "he's the one to make my muse blush". I have no idea why I thought that and proceeded with that train of thought, but... >.> Well, I'm just glad ask-the-espeon didn't get angry at me for the random, spur of the moment "love at first sight" cliche.

Fun Fact: Since I'm still up and about, I guess I will share something fun!

Rose the Pichu's personality is based around a blog that inspired me. Heard of thepinknekos? Follow him immediately! Yeah, Minun and Plusle are cute, but he makes them adorable little jerks that you cannot not love! When I saw Kelly, it just inspired more of Rose's personality. Before any of this inspiration though, Rose was supposed to be shy and timid that Zorua would help out. But... Well, what would that push forward with my Zorua? And how would I introduce a character like that if Zorua never goes home? So I wanted to plan out another type of character. And who else to inspire me but a freaking blind Minun? Since Zorua was blind, I was already intrigued by how her character takes her blindness, and I was quite amused by the portrayal of this character. Heck, she even makes puns with her blindness!

I actually considered for some brief time to change up Zorua to be kinda like Kelly, but it just wasn't my Zorua. Heck, Zorua's personality is playful and sweet, but extremely naive as well. Also, she hasn't completely grasped the reality of being blind since, well... I gave her the power to see through illusions. Even if she was born blind, she learned a way to overcome it. She can see more through a sixth sense. Other Pokémon don't have that chance, so she doesn't actually grasp the concept of being completely blind.

But still, it gave me so many new ideas that I never even considered before! thepinknekos left an impression on me, so I wanted to give them some respect for their amazing character. So, since I was still in the works of planning Rose's character and background, I was open to many ideas. That's when I decided that Rose would be somewhat like Kelly. Rose may have some of the quirks that Kelly has, but I want to make her have that childlike aura with that spunk. Of course, I wanted to find some other differences between the two, but that's just going to be revealed as more questions shows more of Rose!

Seriously though, if you're not following thepinknekos, you're missing out. He made a seductive Meowth. How is that not awesome?

If Zorua's bland, that means I have to improve on some personality traits but make her seemed unchanged. Let's first observe what traits she has already shown.

So, the blandness may be settled in later dates because she's just underdeveloped at this point in time. Though, I guess maybe the blandness may also come from how much of a cliche of a character she might be since she needs more defining points to differ herself from other child characters. Her speech pattern I've already decided on, so I may have to point out more of her defining points through her actions. So, if that's the case, then my main focus to improve upon her blandness is to give her more defining details through her actions.

Fun Fact: Zorua can shut off her illusive sight. When she does this, the hazy purple pupils in her eyes will disappear, only leaving the magenta on top of the violet. When her illusive sight is shut off, then (excuse the obvious statement) she completely loses sight and cannot see anything around her.

Fun Fact: Tug-O-War is Zorua's favorite game. If you have a rope or something that might dangle (besides necklaces and tails), Zorua may start tugging. If this object starts moving, Zorua will chase it around.

Fun Fact: Originally, I planned Zorua to be a bookworm, knowing about a bunch of facts about Pokémon but afraid to go out of her cave except to get more books at a local library in Nimbasa City. After working out a few details, I just didn't feel like it would be worth the trouble. After all, if Zorua was stuck in a cave, how would he (yes, originally planned to be a guy) go out to communicate with other Pokémon?

So I changed my character a bit to be a smart adventurer but... I felt like the "smart adventurer" was played out too much, so I wanted to come up with something more complex. I then decided to make Zorua blind with the abilities to see through illusions.

I was in the stages of making this blog when, all a sudden, inspiration came from nowhere to make Zorua a young child (which I couldn't decide on a gender before settling on female). On a last minute change, I gave Zorua the personality of an over-excited child who had a fear of large Pokemon and wants to be an adventurer like her father. This just settled right with me and I have no regrets so far! ... Well, at least not yet.

I still have a plot point of finding her father. I actually have no idea where I'm taking this. So many ideas has run through my mind of how I want Zorua to meet her father, but none have stuck thoroughly. Still, like this young Zorua learns about the world around her, I will learn that same world with her! I hope you've been enjoying the adventures of this small Zorua on her quest!
