In case you weren't aware, there are 3-in-1 volumes of the Eva manga available (up to volume 12) for a pretty good price! You'd have to get 13 and 14 separate, though, and they wouldn't match the others.

Not being able to find any information should be a pretty good indication that there is no information. the only thing we know is a hideaki anno is still working on it, and he's also simultaneously working on a live action Godzilla film. given that the last movie left him exhausted and depressed I highly doubt we'll see it in the near future. we're still going to be waiting a good long while.

Shinji is one of the most relatable and revolutionary characters ever. Sweet angel, Cinnamon Roll who’s done a few things wrong but still the purest angel. I only want happiness for him and i can’t rest peacefully until I knOW HE’S HAPPY

in terms of Asuka and Shinji’s relationship i dont think Shinji was any less or more at fault for the discourse between them, but most the clash came from them being similar people with different upbringings/way of handling things

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

i WANT him to get into a DOMESTIC WORLD w/ ALL HIS FRIENDS and be HAPPY.

Also I want him to become less fearful of his friends ): EoE ended with Asuka and Rei coming off almost...as empty existences for him, i want him to be able to live peacefully and happily with his friends smh smh

How I feel about this character

Haru makes my heart stir a bit just because I really understand how he feels in an overall sense but he’s such an inspirational and powerful character...he started off with this natural talent but not wanting to do anything with it, and over the course of the series he learns its not that bad to strive for the top and to reach towards a dream he wants to follow, doing the things he wanted to do with what he had. And with his friends... learning to love his friends, the idea of a team, and being honest with what he wants. AaaaAA i have a lot of feeling about haru i might go off

haru isnt a fragile baby who needs to be lead around by the hand and tied down. haru doesn’t need someone else to be his own whole person, he is his own independent character who learned how the people in his life can help him grow not stifle him

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

i wish his arc was more focused on in eternal summer because with the 13 episode restraint i wanted more insight on what haru was really thinking, but we were just as confused and unsure with him so i was fine w/ it/

NAGISA IS SUCH A HARDWORKER AND BRIGHT CHARACTER, he’s so wonderful and is really what pushed Free! foward from the beginning, he was my #1 back when i was originally watching and i still love him w/ all my heart but i didnt nearly as much development as i wanted from him in SE2

i...dont think i have any? i can easily get annoyed by the fandom’s characterizations for all the boys but ive never really run into a nagisa portrayal issue other than him coming off....too sadistically maybe?

i wanted nagisa to be captain of the swim club...im glad rei got it i really am but...nagisa worked for it, nagisa started the club and got everyone together, it really was his to inherit.
