Just felt like doodling this guy again. Also I changed his lore, he's no longer 10,000 years old, and his dominion over Sol lasts a lot shorter.
SolarHood Lore: Zrout and his Bodyguard
Figured I'd revisit some dudes in my sci-fi setting I hardly draw anymore.
Zrout Ruvkhin was once a renowned Kozmite scientist who was exiled from the Kozmite Technocracy for being annoying. He ended up becoming a powerful warlord, managing to conquer the whole Solar System and turn everyone within into mindless thralls. The Technocracy, although pleasantly surprised, cut all contact with him because they didn't want the entire Solar Neighborhood to declare war on them. Zrout and his brainless slave army have staved off counterterrorist forces for over 9,000 years, not knowing that just a little luck can send his entire empire crashing down.
Opal Kanach was born on a starship belonging to a clan of nomadic Basaran in the Near Sector. He tried to turn his own clan into a criminal enterprise, but that all came crashing down after nobody showed up to his armed robbery. He narrowly avoided a death sentence by breaking out of prison the day before he was to be executed. He then got involved with Zrout's antics after begging the Scourge of Earth to let him in because his ship ran out of fuel. Zrout had originally planned on stealing Opal's brain and enslaving him until he realized that Opal was the only person in the Universe who would willingly cook for him, and his food was actually quite good.

Redrew and redesigned a few more sci-fi characters in my new style.
More Sci-Fi Stuff
Decided to draw another scene I plan on including in Zogg and Hox. I also updated Zrout's outfit so he'd look less like Invader Zim because originality is always better than whatever the Hell I was on when I made him.
Even in his weakened state, Zrout is still intimidating because he can do cool shit like float around in the air and stuff.
