Also, in my journey to wearing all black, i think it’s gonna allow me to play with cuts and styles i’ve always wanted to try, but I am protected because it’s in my favorite color! Also, i think i’m just gonna start wearing whatever the fuck I want.

For someone whose body developed very early on (and let’s be honest, I’ve been kinda thick), I’ve always had to be extra self conscious about what I wear. My body type has always meant that it’s important for me to “dress my age”. I’ve been through so many phases and I think I’ve been in a bit of an uninspiring rut. I think i’m figuring out how I want to be viewed. Rihanna, Amandla Sternberg, lil bit of Zandaya, and other carefree black girls and women (on here too!) are honestly making me feel good about myself like.... WHO THE FUCK CARES IF I DON’T HAVE A FLAT STOMACH AND AM WEARING A CROP TOP. Like no more fear, if i like it, I’m wearing it
