Oh, not at all! The friends I'm making Symbolers for just happen to like fluffy animals, hence all the fluffeh. But there can be reptiles and birds and even fish Symbolers, too. Just depends what animal you think best fits your personality (or just one you fancy). And I'm glad you like the concept. ^^

Pardon me if this has already been asked, but I have been wondering. The main point to Team Plasma is the liberation of pokemon from their trainers, yes? So if you don't mind, could you explain the main purpose of the team in your Gijinka world, seeing as the role of 'trainer' really doesn't exist?

This is probably a pretty dumb idea compared to all of the other great ones that I've heard, but I personally thought of Team Plasma going against Pokemon battling in general. I imagined that while most see it as a sport and as a way to discipline yourself, Team Plasma and others would most likely see it as nothing more than a dangerous and quicker way to kill themselves. So I guess they're preventing others from battling to "save" them or something. They particularly see team leaders as manipulative dictators who take no other joy than to see their "minions" battle to their whim. In a sense, Team Plasma wants everybody to live as normal people.
