Original Character October, day 1: Zyrphae Aletyl, drow wizard!
Okay, so I wanted to draw her for a long time. Zyrphae is the closest thing to a drow matron in my campaign, I feel, (even if in my setting drow have democracy). And I wanted to draw just an overly regal and fancy drow lady because canonical depictions of matrons are, eh, pretty subpar-
Anyways, Zyrphae led a rebellion in her younger years against the tyrannical government of Mith-Sharorr. However, they were forced to flee the nation when things didn’t quite work out for them, and took refuge in Remyra, a nation Mith-Sharorr had been fighting with for a long time. Her group -now known as Evres- was welcomed with open arms, and there she’s lead them as a guild/clan. However, her age is starting to get the best of her, and there doesn’t seem to be anyone to lead Evres as masterfully as she did. Kandris, her adoptive son, isn’t exactly the best fit (nor does he want that responsability). For now, Arcien Yu’Yden seems like the most likely candidate.
