In a bizarre camera harness entanglement incident, a middle aged fruit-booter was beheaded by his telephoto lens this weekend while attempting a front side shutter grab, a difficult ski maneuver first made famous by world renowned ski jumper and landscape photographer Ansel Adams. Adams crafted the aerial stunt while snapping the iconic “Moon and Half Dome” in a death defying leap from El Capitan in the winter of 1960. This weekend’s tragedy was ironically captured on film. A single grizzly image of the victim in mid air clearly shows the wardrobe malfunction that lead to his demise.
