While the book starts on a possible murder, the victim is actually revealed much later towards the end, along with the killer (if you haven't binged watched the show already) but believe me when I say you won't be bored. Big Little Lies talks about women. Their relationships- the marriages, the children, the friendships and even the rivalries. It's a book celebrating the resilience of women, without glorifying them or making them perfect. What I found best about the book was how each character is shown to be flawed in their own way and while you might not always agree with them, you will relate most of the time.
