“It’s gorgeous, TJ.” Mia gushed as she looked it over. “It’ll look amazing.” Needles terrified Mia, so the thought of tattoos on her own body was out of the question but she still appreciated them.
“Yeah.” That serpent had carried so much meaning to him. He was surely making it a reality in the future. “What would you get? Just out of curiosity.”

Shaking her head, Mia put aside her book and turned to face him. “It’s fine. What are you working on?”
“Ah-nothing special.” He flipped the small pad in front of him to show Mia the rough sketch. “Ouroboros. I’ve been thinking about getting it tattooed sometime. If I can a nice outline together that is.”

Mia snapped her head up at the sound of her boyfriend’s voice. She blushed prettily, shaking her head. “No. I have to pace myself or else I’ll be miserable when I finish. Kind of like when you get really good food.”
“Gotcha.” Tate nodded before sitting up with a sigh. The male rolled up his sleeve and glanced at his watch, taking note of the time before turning his gaze to Mia. “Oh. Do not let me disturb you. Please, continue.”
Lying there with his head propped on Mia’s lap, Tate slipped the small sketchpad from his pocket and started doodling.He didn't mind Mia immersing in her reading. There was a satisfaction that came from simply being in her presence. “So... you finishing it all tonight?”

“I think I actually found an apartment that passes my standards,” Nat smiled, flipping through pictures on her phone. “Mia would finally have her own room. And it’s got a big ass bathroom with a tub which is literally what she asked for for christmas.”
“Sounds like you’ve got the one. Hard to beleive, you taking on that little girl. A lotta responsibility.”
