RECoNNECT

The halls of the current âhomeâ were quiet. Uncomfortably. There was not a single sound that came out from any hallway, not a footstep could be heard, all was still. Uncomfortably still.
This was Knock Outâs new life. After having left the Decepticons when it was obvious the war wasnât worth fighting anymore, he had moved on. Left the ship and the memories made there behind. Most of them were horrid anyways. Being treated like scrap, never being appreciated, ha, after all he was only âJUST THE MEDICâ. Itâs not like had an IMPORTANT job or anything. Oh no, no, of course not, he only just made sure that everyone on board that ship was still ALIVE.
Needless to say he was a little bitter. If he was being completely honest with himself, he was extremely bitter.
Being alone gave him time to look over his life choices. And man, did he make some pretty crappy decisions. Almost every decision he had come across ended up leading to failure. Ah, memories.
But there was one decision, one decision that he was certain, he made the right choice in. And that was staying in contact with Starscream. The newer, broken version of Starscream anyways. He should have never let him slip away, that was certain, but getting him back, was one of the best choices he ever made.
The rather sadistic medic couldnât get him out of his mind. Especially after their last encounter. It went far better than he had imagined it to go. He had regained the poor Seekerâs trust. The question now was, what would he do with it?
He stopped his rather âbusyâ schedule glancing over at his datapad as it lit up. He rose a brow. There was only one person he could think of that would be contacting himâŚ
The long slender claws extended out, taking the datapad in his hold, blinking a few times at the sudden light it gave off as his crimson red optics grazed over every word.
It was almost like he could hear Starscreamâs gentle voice speak to him as he read.
|Starscream, you already know the answer. How cute of you to ask though.|
He chuckled at his own remark, before he continued.
|Where would you like to meet?|
Starscream waited, nearly dropping the datapad as it buzzed in his servos. He held it tightly and tried to make out the words. He was still very bad at reading or writing, but thanks to auto-correct, it was saving him a lot of trouble. He pressed a small speaker button by the text and the datapad read it out to him. His face wrinkled at the weird way it pronounced names before he moved to try and type again.
This looked right⌠No, no⌠That was wrong⌠He sighed, giving up almost instantly before he pressed a little microphone and spoke softly, clearly. It translated to text.
[How about the ship?] He soon pressed send and waited. He was excited that he said yes and couldnât wait to get back with him again. It was such a treat to be with him, to share his warmth⌠To hear his voice and feel his touchâŚ
He cleared his vocals slightly and stared at the datapad, awaiting the reply.
Knock Out tapped at his claws against the screen of the datapad. It had been far too long since they talked. He wondered why he had put it off for so long... He scolded himself for putting it off.Â
|Sounds like a plan to meet. Iâll meet you there and give the same signal as always.|Â
He put down the datapad, perhaps a little too quickly. Heh, someone was excited. He would lying if he said didnât miss Starscream. There was a list of things he missed about Starscream. His voice, his soft voice always put him at ease. His half expressive wings were adorable. He missed....Starscream. Everything about him.Â
He soon set off, to their meeting place.Â
