Sigma Analysis is Threatening Minors Over Shared Doc – Please Read + Report
We Shared a Google Doc Within Our Friend Group. Now We’re Getting Threatened With 'Legal Action.'
@ sigma.analysis, a Bungou Stray Dogs analyst account on instagram, was selling an analysis document on their patreon that my friend LEGALLY bought. That document was shared among a group of friends for discussion, but someone among us took screenshots of the doc (with the comments) and sent it to sigma.analysis without us knowing. Her response was insane.
She made a post and shared the screenshots to the general public, exposing minors for 'theft.' sigma.analysis had no proof whatsoever that any sort of theft was involved, but proceeded to assure her audience that her document had in fact been resold, which is a blatant lie. She threatened 'legal action' and insisted that this was 'copyright infringement', and then proceeded to end this very troubling post by PROMOTING another one of her analyses with the words 'my work is valuable and needed, thats why it was stolen.' That is a very messed up thing to do in a post where you're literally expressing concern over a serious issue, as if saying 'I am pretty, that's why I got cheated on.'
When my friends found out, the one in possession of the google doc deleted it out of fear and impulsiveness. Then one of us reached out to sigma.analysis, namely, Esther, and informed her of the entire situation. My friend agreed to delete the doc and give her the names of the friends who's comments had been screenshotted, in return for Esther deleting the post (since the post had personal information of minors) and wrongful theft allegations, but halfway during the negotiation Esther ghosted my friend and then blocked her. Soon after, my friend's account was mysteriously h@cked. She lost possession of her account after the h@cker changed the password.
Esther then got a hold of an email address for one of my friends somehow. Esther sent a direct email to a minor threatening 'legal action' if they don't delete the doc right now, with no confirmation whatsoever if that friend even possessed the doc.
This issue has reached a point where we can no longer stay silent. Esther assumed and blamed us of theft, doxxed minors, refused and blocked the friend trying to cooperate, and then sent a direct, threatening email to a minor.'ve attached some proofs with snippets of explanations below ⬇

I want to point out here that she knows it wasn't theft and believed it. The situation was very clear, yet still she asked for unnecessary things like contact details and information about the person who 'snitched on us.'
Any of that was in no way relevant to someone trying to protect their work. She has no right to know any of that, and yet still asked a minor to provide this information and later threatened her to send it.
the doc was long since deleted out of fear by the friend, and Esther was told as such. As you can see here, my friend was ready to provide information on her friends under pressure. As for the 'snitch' we clearly do not know.
The document could not be recovered even through trash (as you'll later see) and thats why my friend asked Esther what if she doesn't send it. In response, Esther immediately sent a threatening email. Again, keep in mind that she would've gained nothing from the deleted doc other than information on minors (name, gamils, etc)
Esther also said she wanted this information only to 'talk to the friends in person.' This is wrong on various different levels. Not only is she attempting to contact minors against their wishes but she also put up the act of 'righting a wrong.'
Last but not least, she wouldn't have gotten the insta handles of the minors through the doc anyway, but she still went after it.
She threatened a minor with copyright theft, blackmail, and digital misconduct. It's clear for all to see that none of that applies here, and Esther issued these threats only to gain access to information on minors.
It's also worth noting that she did not delete the post where she wrongfully claimed theft and doxxed minors to the public.
Soon after, Esther blocked my friend. Please be aware that this is the entirety of the conversation that we have. Any conversations you see besides this might be fabricated, because this friend's account was immediadetly hacked afterwards.
A bit after this, another friend (also a minor) received a threatening e-mail from Esther.
'International property laws' over something that was, again, not theft. This friend didn't have access to the document in the first place, so Esther threatened them with no proof.
Please help us stop this. This isn't okay. Let me be informal for a second and express my concerns clearly:
We know, and I'm sure you know too, that the words 'legal action' etc. are being used to scare people and thats it. You can't do anything that crazy unless you're well-connected or rich. She's literally just using big words to scare minors, guys, and over an issue that doesn't even exist. There was no theft. The doc was shared among a group of friends for discussion, like when you lend a book to a friend that you legally bought. This was never that serious of an issue. Threatening emails? doxxing minors? obtaining the email of a minor through unethical means?
Esther is so entitled and oblivious that she can't even see the damage she's done to those involved. She wrongfully made assumptions and took steps that hurt people, and she did it while promoting another one of her posts like this is all just PR haven for her?
She offers this narrative that makes it seem like she's the victim. She is in her twenties, sending threats and harrassing minors. This has gone on long enough.
I ask everyone in the BSD community (and everyone else concerned) to please help us in making this issue known. She'd done this enough, please help us stop her guys.
