The Rose lazily disappeared in a crimson flash and reappeared a few minutes later in another one. She put the tray in-front of him and said. “Here’s some balanced breakfast, eat it first and then eat the painkillers.”
“Oh gee, sweetie this is really a hundred and ten percent.” He looked down at the tray and felt a sense of accomplishment for his girl. She was so... smart. Smarter than him. “Thank you so much!”
Head Canon||Raven was his one and Only
Although he does harbor complex and strong feelings for Summer Rose, his one and only will always be Raven. She’s the girl who keeps him up at night. She’s the one he still cries about. He knows it and he feels guilty.

A simple grunt was all that could come out of him. After all, what could Qrow say to help Taiyang out? He knew the man, and he’s already used every line in the book by now. He loved his sister… and he loved Summer, too.
“Well, you know, I have a supply run to make, and I could use that classic Xiao Long ability to get in and out of trouble quickly on my side since it’s not completely legitimate. What do you say? Want the distraction?”
“Yeeah....” He scratched the back of his head. “Hey, that’s a great idea then! That’ll make the substitute worth their time yeah? Whatever you need, I’ll help ya out.” Taiyang tried to pump himself up to be his usual feisty self.
It got hard sometimes. Maybe he just needed to forget.

He shook his head, a pounding in his forehead as he did so. The man ran his fingers through his hair. Was this real? Was this happening? “Wh... well yeah I guess so.”

She stared at him for a moment before laughing a bit more.
“—Well, no joke there. I’m yours. but then again– I don’t think what i’m pointing out. But that’s fine. I got that same bright fire as you.”
The man grinned and wrapped his arm around his daughter, pulling her close and ruffling her hair. “Yep! So don’t question it! ” He chuckled.
"Summer...?"
“The one & only,” the spirit replied, a loving smile appearing on her lips. “It’s been a long time, hasn’t it?”
He gasped, his dry throat aching as he inhaled sharply as he dropped his bottle. “...Is this some sort of fever dream? Is it the booze?”
