eggplant frenzy
One moment he was minding his own business, strolling about and whistling a tune—the next, terrified at the deep purple fruit that had recently bounced off of his head and landed beside him. The dreaded eggplant.
And there was not one, but many being thrown about.
“No no NO, he can’t be here! I don’t want to become an eggplant!" Memories of having nothing but his legs transform into said edible return, sending a chill down his spine. Without Lady Palutena or the hospitals of Skyworld, if Pit is afflicted with the status here, there’s no telling if he’ll have to live the rest of his afterlife as an eggplant—and was that a girl among the deadly fruits?! That dastardly Eggplant Wizard, the forces of the Underworld Army must be eradicated, no matter in what realm; especially when a poor female’s form was at stake.
“Your salad spells end here Eggplant Wizard!" Pit proceeds to fire a light arrow at the ‘contraption’ that spilled out the dangerous eggplants(which turned out to be a mere basket), carefully passing between her legs and splitting it into two; the force sending the basket a few feet away from the other.
“There!" Perfect aim. "You are now safe from the eggplants, Miss!”
Shirona yelped when something shot between her legs and split the basket in half. Some eggplants flew out of the basket - which she quickly warded off - and a tell-tale tinkle told her that the key had flown out as well.
"Whoa, great shot!" She turned to the person who had conveniently destroyed the offending vegetables. He sported wings - her first thought was of angels, but she withheld that assumption. Many demons had wings, too.
Eggplant wizard, though? What was he talking about?
Her room key twinkled faintly on the ground, and she retrieved it before resuming the conversation. "Some guy thought it was fun to hide my keys in this huge basket. Thanks lots."

eggplant frenzy
"Hey, who put this basket here?"
Shirona looked down at the offending container of vegetable blocking her way. It was quite a large basket, and filled with eggplants. Lots of them.
And her room key was supposedly.... under it?
I have to touch them?
Ew.
She tried to lift the basket, but that failed. It was too heavy - whoever set up this trap (probably that imp, gonna roast him later) was devious. The bottom seemed to be weighted down.
With a sigh she began digging through the pile, tossing eggplants out. Some might have bounced a little further than she thought they would...

Nobility...? [ yosuke | marth ]
... Lord Trash Can?
It certainly was a very -ah, interesting title.
Marth reflected on the possibility that the passing imp could have been lying, but given how surreal his whole experience was, it might be an actual tier of office.
Nevertheless, skepticism constituted part of his thoughts, distracting him from brooding on the imp's words. So, he had died... he dimly remembered Elice's worried visage, perceived through a dense haze clouding everything else.
How was Altea faring without him? Surely the Shadow Dragon would not take this chance to rise again?
He looked down at the slip of paper in his hand. It would match one of the doors on this corridor. Perhaps someone could shed more light on his predicament....
The door opened slightly even before he raised a hand to knock. How uncanny...

“Library?” This was her first time hearing of it, having not known of such a place existing within sh’tori. By all means, it is more than acceptable, she has quite the fond love of books herself. Though, in admittance, she’s had trouble keeping up lately. Eternity would seem to be a good time to catch up on long forgotten fiction. But what kind of books do they keep, is a more promising question.
“No, I do not mind. In fact, I would rather go with that suggestion rather than mine.” She admits.”I did not realize there was one in this realm, though I suppose it would be silly to think otherwise. — You mentioned you tend towards it, do you have a fondness towards books, Cecil?”
Cecil nodded at the other's statement. "I found it rather unexpected as well - after all, imps and demons are not naturally learned. In fact, it had no librarian, until I came by." His serene expression clouded slightly. "The previous one disappeared under... mysterious circumstances." He certainly hoped the fate would not befall him as well.
The puppet turned towards the street that would eventually take them there. "This way, please."
Lucina's question brought a faint smile. "Indeed so. I was a scholar as well, back in the lands of the living. Books themselves hold a special appeal, do you not think so? They are the thoughts of others preserved in ink; channels through time - and always waiting to be read."
Pro Tip for Roleplayers:
Right now, a lot of you are getting that god-awful grey box in place of your gifs and icons. After using the image upload option, go into HTML editor and add an s after the HTTP of the image URL and put a 31. in front of the media in place of what’s there, or if nothing’s there, you shouldn’t get the grey box. Example.
Grey Box.
as opposed to this.

It wasn’t sarcasm entirely, and even if so it would be without malice. It was merely confusion of the unknown. One had to adjust themselves to the social implications of other worlds, to realize and accept each one worked in a different way. In theory, it was simple enough to understand, but to apply it to a realistic situation— It rather puzzled the mage more than it should have done.
“Well, there is a tavern nearby if you are willing to go there.” She answered in response to his acceptance. “I have to admit, the quality of such places aren’t to the best of standards, but if you are willing to ignore the noise and unsavoury attitude of some of the patrons then there is comfort and seclusion available. — If not that, then there is my apartment.”
Cecil considered the offer for a moment. It would be rather inappropriate to enter the private quarters of a lady (even if he was invited), though the tavern did not seem to be too good an alternative either. Even though this was a mere trifle of a decision, he found himself unable to make a choice.
Not for the first time, he wished Thalia was here. She would know what to do.
"If it is not inconvenient for you - might I suggest the library? The lack of patrons there would give us privacy." The puppet replied after a pause. "I help tend to it on some days, so getting in would not be a problem."

The voice of Burroughs followed by a female’s had alerted him, Flynn shooting a glance directly at the source. He could have sworn that very tone was incredibly similar, almost mimicking Isabeau’s; yet the stature of the other was nothing alike. It must have just been a trick of the mind, nothing else; the amount of rest he had was quite small after all.
Brushing the thought away, he lifted himself off the wall and into a straight posture, the male maintaining the distance she had placed between them. “That is correct” he states, his voice holding no sort of emotion. So she was the one to provide assistance and healing to his fellow Samurai, very well.
"Yes, you’re free to explain yourself" he granted, waiting patiently for the other to speak of her plans. He was curious of what exact healing she will provide to his roommate and ‘former’ partner and what his participation required. His approval to cooperate all depended on her manner of clearing his inner doubt.
Helen gave a brief nod, adjusting her posture to a more dignified one. Perhaps her unintentional mimicry of his companion would be picked up, perhaps it would not.
"Technology to harness emotions exists in my homeworld. I have a contact who is quite well-versed in the refinement of hope - and it is hope's blue light that your companion requires."
A pause.
"We will be able to provide hope in a useable form to you. It will aid in the restoration of her mental state - though your attitude towards her will still be a major factor, so your cooperation will be needed if you wish to continue."
The puppet delivered the information in a concise and formal manner, though she elected to withhold the matter of compensation until she was sure that the offer was one the other had very little chance of refusing.
