A New World [ZESHEA OPEN]
Was he seriously dead? He couldn't answer that question; he couldn't even remember the last thing that happened prior to waking up in this new setting. Haze clouded his mind, and the more he tried to force a memory, the more obscure the answer would become. Irritating, very much so; if this wasn't someone's idea of a tasteless prank, he was dead.
Oh well, not like it mattered. Death would have happened sooner or later in his wretched life and he knew it was more than deserved after all the sins he had committed. If this was what fate had in store for him, what could be done about it?
Slipping his hands into the pockets of his pants, Adachi began walking forward, his posture a slight slouch as usual. As far as he could tell, the area seemed to be populated by those demonic-looking creatures. They weren't the Shadows he knew but he didn't mind them yet; he'd seen worse, and so long as they kept to themselves, there wouldn't be a problem.
Putting some small details aside, the overall atmosphere actually made him feel right at home with a faint sense of nostalgia that almost made him question whether or not he was in the TV world-- Though that probably wasn't the case; it felt like a new world entirely.
He didn't get too far before footsteps would come to a halt in front of a narrow entryway, his head tilting upwards to stare dully at the ruby-dyed sky, "So this is supposed to be the afterlife? ...Man, it's got way less of a punch to it than I thought." An impassive chuckle would soon follow his 'joke' of a comment. He still couldn't fully wrap his mind around the fact he was dead; not when he was still breathing and feeling, and still in one piece; and as he looked back down--
"Oh, looks like I'm not alone. What a surprise." If the man did feel any type of surprise or relief from knowing that there was another individual standing before him, it certainly didn't show; not with how casual he appeared to be.
