Continued work on the astronaut on stream on friday.

Been working on this figure in the spirit of lunar exploration while watching/listening to the Artemis 2 live streams.

Streamed today for a few hours, went over post Adepticon stuff and went through the small handful of things i picked up this year.

Alright! I went to Adepticon and got to participate in the charity Paint and Pass at Ft Wappel.

The theme this year was Battletech! They had a 3d printed dropship and it was decided that it would be a pirate dropship lifting off while surrounded by mechs.

I thought "how would pirates pay for their travel costs other than pirating? They'd sell a billboard space for the Restaurant at the End of the Universe!"

I freehanded the Milliways logo onto the dropship on the livestream, I did some extra weathering onto the base and dropship, everyone did their own tags, someone painted an AMAZING sun themed face on the top. It was a great time and someone won the entire bundle to take home.

I dont know if I'll be able to attend Adepticon next year, so I tried to make the most of it.

I'm moving! The new place is MUCH more affordable. Downside: the move takes time. Internet on my desktop pc is a little iffy right now, since I'm moving equipment and packing.

So no streams, painting, or games this week while i (hopefully) get a majority of things moved over before next week.

Had a less than wonderful start to the stream yesterday, really set me off of wanting to work on my planned project.

So i wound up doing a 4 color challenge on a bunnyfolk.

These 4 colors (plus tiny amounts of black or white for contrast) were the only colors used.

Yes, I know that I messed up the eyes a bit. I'm slowly getting better at them.

Not too shabby for just under 3 hours of painting time.

Played 2 games of Trench Crusade today!

Lmao I lost both games and I had a great time!

Some highlights included:

My heavy mechanized trooper getting BODIED on turn 2 by a critical from my friends' wolf beast guy:

One of yeomen getting tangled up in barbed wire from the only critical I rolled the whole day:

My lieutenant getting double teamed by enemy troopers in the 2nd game.. some girls get all the fun :P

My berzerker lieutenant giving the wolf beast the good old "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough" routine.. before promptly being eviscerated:

MVP's were definitely my yeomen who spent much of the games harassing the enemy with their grenades.

All in all, much fun was had. I got tabled game 1 in the last turn, made some changes to fireteams and only lost by 4 points in the 2nd game.

Decided to do some weathering and micro flatwork

Still needs more rust and oil streaks. Some more green here and there and some highlights to really pop the rust. Then finish up some metallics, soot, and mud effects

Progress after trying out the dark wash from armypainter. 2nd round of detailing, then basing should finish up most of the group. I want them tabletop adequate, not like, show-worthy.

Progress on the Eire Raiders warband. Most of the base color blocking is getting down. Greys will be drybrushed metallic, lots of mud, grime, and blood as befits a trench crusade warband.

It was a decent stream! I had fun :) see y'all next stream!

Im trying to decide if Im going to have Sunday be my 3rd day for my weekly schedule. Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. At least until i get into the full swing.

Some small updates to the mechanized heavy trooper to clean up what i felt was a bit too much "bobblehead" i could have also moved it further back between the shoulder humps, but i preferred the idea of it forcing the person inside more forward. Like theyre crammed in between the equipment and in front of a big engine.
