What’s your best experience rping in ffxiv?

So in lieu of the recent negativity of late, I was hoping to hear some positive stories about rp experiences in ffxiv. Ffxiv rpers of all servers- what’s your best experience rping in game. It can either be ic or ooc. I’d love to hear them. Let’s spread some love and positivity.

Coco had to recently face her biggest fear: Water. It’s difficult picking a single moment or a single rp session, since most of the times we rp together we always have fun. Specially with these characters that were born for the only purpose of that, having fun and interact with people in events or in the streets of Ul Dah.

But I guess if I have to pick a moment, I loved when Coco had to suffer in the Ruby Sea, being terrified of water all around her. And her friends were not nice about it XDDD It didn’t help she needed a shower. Aside this moment, probably one of the best RPs we’ve had was when Sassy had to force her to have a shower, and Coco’s screams could be heard all over the Lavender Beds. After that rp she spent several weeks paranoid saying that her skin had become paler because of the contact with water.

A great day was when her mom sent her a pig saying in the letter “its smell reminded her of Coco” and the jokes about Coco’s smell started to get out of control (In a fun way)

with the new producer letter out, there’s something i still wish would be addressed. i love the team behind ffxiv and appreciate them more than words can express.. although this thought has been brought up again by this quote:

“Among some of the feedback we received were requests for playable characters that resembled young boys and girls. Unfortunately, this is one request we cannot consider for ethical reasons.”

only one thing has bothered me for a while since i started playing again, and its this: no lalafell children npcs. perhaps if you only found them among lalafell communities it would look less out of place (read: Dwarf village). i find that an addition of this nature would maybe help with some of the questionable people treating adult lalafell like children. probably won’t happen, but its a pipe dream.
