There’s nothing like a brunch treat with friends to cap off a very long weekend. This delightful in-between meal should never hurried; it gives us time to linger over our cup of coffee and a good way to catch up with friends. So when we got the invite, after several weeks of not being able to see each other, we've finally found time! The BigBarks trooped to the South to experience having breakfast in paradise.
Since I've done and attended many weddings here, I was giddy to experience it again as a guest!:) We entered this 270-square-meter restaurant that sits like a queen on a lush 3.2-hectare property. The interiors are tastefully done, with crystal chandeliers hanging from the pitch-black ceiling that complement the black and white Machuca-tiled flooring. The main dining hall is both spacious and airy, its walls peppered with big and beautiful impressionist paintings.
We found ourselves seated on a table — with crisp white linens and white napkins, no less.

The restaurant constantly gets a sweet whisper from the cool mountain breeze, so sweet you become dreamy, hopeful and excited about what awaits you in this restaurant. The verdant surroundings concomitantly become the playground of birds and butterflies. The place evokes a casual yet elegant feel. This is paradise. This is Breakfast at Antonio’s!
The atmosphere is still typically al fresco, with a generous lawn for young, restless bodies to play in. In our case, there were 7 of us and 4 kids we brought along for the ride. Time seems to stop over the lovely pancakes, crepes...and filling brekkie delights. The kids played in the lawn and we welcomed the great view of nature, the mid-morning light softly bathed everything with a quiet glow.
I’m saving another hearty appetite for my next visit -- Thanks a bunch Mellay for the great deal...We looooove it!:D
