yes i do!! smdkw has not been abandoned! the way i write is just really scatterbrained and i don’t always write one chapter immediately after the next. i write the chapters out of order! unfortunately, i can only post them in chronological order or it won’t make sense to my readers.

i write at least a little bit of smdkw pretty much every day! i can promise you that i have not abandoned the fic, i’ve just been writing chapters that aren’t immediately after the most recent one i posted 😭

chapter 1 of the smdkw spin off is ready, just waiting on my beta reader and it’s up! should be up in the next 24hrs! i’m so excited for y’all to read it!

I'm really sorry if this is super insensitive but I read smdkw like 2 years ago I distinctly remember arriving at some chapter where you dropped a huge bombshell in the notes, basically explaining that you've been in some sort of psychotic state and hallucinated the events of the fic you wrote, stating that one of the reasons the dialogue felt so real was because "it was real to you" (or something along those lines) and you heard the characters say it in your hallucinations, they were like friends to you etc. and now you felt unsure about if/how you wanted to finish the fic? I am SO sorry if that was never a real thing I read and rather just a false memory, but this has been on my mind for so long because from what I (think I) remember, it felt outright bizarre to be immersed in a fun AU fic and then turns out... the author hallucinated the events?? I've been looking all over for the chapter where I remember reading that, but the only evidence I've found that I wasn't hallucinating any of that happening is the chapter where you briefly mention your schizoaffective diagnosis among other pretty wild events??

again I'm really, really sorry if this is prying or makes you uncomfortable in any way but damn this has been marinating in some corner of my mind for so long, I HAVE to know if this is a real thing I correctly remember happening so I really hope you read this. but yeah dw if you're uncomfortable with it, I know this is an extremely weird ask
