To the woman who has always shown kindness and strength in all situations, even where homicide was probably on everyone's mind. To the woman who had shown unconditional love beyond comprehension even when your children may differ on opinions of love. This man right here, is one of my best friends who I also consider brother! From youth days til now he has always gotten my back and still does. Miles may separate us but nothing ever comes between us. He's me and meli's dancin partner, the man who invented the fob card game, who is down for everything even if it's doing something stupid, and one of the most caring man I know. After being taken on a crazy registration process for the MTC. I put my name tag on and was taken to a room that would be my classroom for the next two months. Within that classroom I learned how to love, teach, and have patience. But most of all I learned about the gospel and my Savior. My growth in knowledge, faith, and love grew tremendously within those four wall. Which turned strangers to brothers, sisters and eternal friends. Pride into humility. From being afraid to taking courage and not knowing what to do to following and replying on the spirit. We believed at the time we were the greatest district the MTC ever had (which is why humility was the first to be learned) and to me we were and still are! ;) Where you can find two men who are selfless and willing to teach what they know to inexperience but full of purpose and desire to serve students, you can expect nothing but miracles to happen. Truly nothing but miracles did happen throughout those two months! :) #cebuanodistrict!!! #thebestteachers!!! #thebestdistrict! :) #sorryaboutmyface! #yahistolepictures! #loveyouguys!!!

You ever had a friend that you compared history or each of your lives and noticed that you guys were at the same places at the same time? But didn't meet until years later?? No? Well, I have such a friend. Her name is Melissa Mamea now! :) I've know her for 12 years give or take but it feels like I've known her since the pre-existence. Words can't describe what she means to me and how much I appreciate her and simply admire her! She is my partner in crime and time (mike's office) lol!! She's the current fob card champion! She always got my back as I do for her! My protector and defender, even if I'm wrong (which maybe often). One of the few that gets me and knows me completely! A sister from another mister and she's completely honest with me ( there's no holding back! )! We can't see each other often but when we do time and distance means nothing, we just pick up where we left off! :) I love her and wish her the happiest birthday today!!! 4 years ago today I entered the Provo MTC with a call to serve in the Cebu, Philippines mission! I still get anxiety and nervous thinking about that day! Everything was so new in Utah, the people, land, and weather! I never thought snow could be so beautiful, below 60 degrees was really cold, and I could see my breath in the air!!! So amazing! I also never thought my heart could ache as it did when I was pulling up to the curb. I realized in the moment I was about to open the door, I knew that everything would change. That I would be on my own to have an adventure with The Lord and a girl as companions who I knew nothing about. Everything that was familiar all of sudden became foreign and it would be like that for the next 18 months. I didn't want to open the door fearing I would be inadequate to do such things and I terribly missed my family, especially my mother. But The Lord and His tender mercies are all around. I didn't have to open the door. It was opened by the two boys that could only have done it for me and relieved all fears that I had. If you're thinking two random missionaries, at the time I wished it was some random missionaries. But it was my brothers! -_- nah I love them! They opened the door and I knew I'll be alright and that I was where I need to be. Thus my journey began! :)
