Summer Camp AU!

Mei was out of college for the summer and had signed up to be a counselor at the local summer camp. She’d be a counselor in the arts and crafts area, specifically teaching the kids how to sew. It would last all summer but Mei was excited for it. She already made it to the camp and had her spot in the counselors rooms set up ready for use. She walked out of the counselors housing and took a look around. Some of the other counselors were already out and some of the kids were there too. She pulled her hair into a pony tail and stepped off the porch onto the grounds. She was looking around at the camp more when she turned and bumped into someone. “Oh! Sorry, my bad. I wasn’t paying attention.” she apologized to the person she’d bumped into.

"I’ve worked here plenty. This is my fifth year- I probably know this camp better than most of the others if you want me to show you around." Sighing. "I just wish I didn’t have to tolerate some of the kids being lazy, is all… Only downside I’ve ever found to it."

"That’d be great! Thank you, Rachel." Mei said accepting her offer to show her around. "Well, I’ll be sure to keep things interesting in my sewing classes so the lazy ones have to keep up." Mei replied, smiling. "I’m just working here for the summer, but if I like it I might come back."

"Ah- I see... I usually stay during the fall as well. Nothing like a bit of cool fresh air to wake someone up." Laughing. "Alrighty. Follow me." Intentionally going fairly slow so that Mei had time to look around and ask about things.

"It’s fine… It was my fault." Pulling her bangs out of her eyes with a grey hand, revealing her grey eyes in more detail as she got back up- and easily helped him up too. Someone sure was strong, that was far too easy for her. Her strength had to exceed peak Human strength, whatever she was.

Mei had to look up at the woman and smiled at her. “Yeah! I’m one of the new arts and crafts counselors. My name’s Xiao, Mei or simply Mei.” Mei said introducing herself and offering her hand to the other woman for a hand shake.
