Omegaverse Council Contest

Hello all Omegaverse lovers! Do we have something awesome in store for you. @omega-alpha-beta-dynamics reached out to a lot of blogs so we could all do a contest together for you guys! We have created a side blog, special thanks to jp-omegaverse-hcs, for the submissions to this contest. What is the contest you ask? An Omegaverse Writing Contest! There will be a First, Second, and Third place winner. The first place winner will receive an artwork OR a specially written fiction of their choosing. Second place will receive either an artwork or fiction piece depending on first places’ choice. Third place will receive a shout out from not only the contests’ page, but also from one participating blog of their choice. We do have a few rules everyone must follow, failure to follow the rules will result in disqualification. So read them carefully! And enjoy the contest. We will be accepting works November 8th - November 24th. They will all be carefully judged and we will post the winners the on December 1st.

I was just wandering how did you come up with the name tall-omega-anon?

Oh. I was interacting with @omegaverse-seeker and I referred to myself as Tall Omega Anon because I was writing a story called 'The Tall Omega'. It stuck. I go by Toa for short.

I'm writing a femslash Alpha/Alpha smutfic, can you give me some headcannons

I am so sorry that these took so long, darling. I sometimes struggle with certain topics because I’m not use to them. These first five are written by my lovely friend @ms-alpha because she’s great. <3 

- With two alpha females even though they are partners they still like to try and dominate the other in playful banter

- With two alpha females, one will submit to the other during mating

- Two alpha females are a force to be reckoned with and are considered taboo maybe

- As both partners are alphas it is common for them to get into occasional fights, not enough to cause serious damage but maybe a few bruises due to their hormonal level

- Alpha female partners might have a hard time having children which can cause stillborn, miscarriages and even death to the mother, so sometimes they just adopt a whole litter of pups

- I feel like Alpha/Alpha relationships are very common, and like Asami said above, it’s taboo. Though Fem Alpha/Alpha are more common then men alpha couples are. 

- They share all of the clothes. 

- I think the one who is more common to submit for whatever reason will make a nest. 

- They will have ruts at the same time, like they synchronize like heats and ruts do. There would be a shitload of switching between the both of them

- They would be way more territorial with their pups than even an Omega can be. 

- They wouldn’t have many Omega friends because they would feel very overwhelmed with how much Alpha pheromones they omit 

- I think they will let their pups choose who will be the mom/dad or both (in my verse, alphas are automatically the father/sire while the omegas are the mothers/dam)

- They are a more levelheaded couple, they tend to become less feral

- Their children will be more levelheaded and opinionated 

- I feel like they will get jealous at other Omegas very easily

- Their scents often just meld into one because they already have Alpha pheromones, their added scents will just mix with each other’s

- Famous AU: Omega advocating for equal rights and roles in movie production.

- After pregnancy an Omega shows off their body at the beach, confidently strutting around with their pup(s) in their arms.

- Omega asking an Alpha to dance at a party. 

- Apocalypse AU: Omega being the leader of a group of survivors. 

- Omega running a business amazingly, Alpha comes in and compliments the Alpha worker. Omega tells them off. 

- Omega asks Alpha to bond with them and gives them a bondmark. 

- An Omega being into their sexuality.

Dynamics and their Siblings

Btw, I have two younger sisters.

Omega with another Omega Sibling

The older sibling would teach the younger one tips and tricks of nest building.

May even share a nest when they’re younger, but move to different nests later, yet they’ll spend lots of time in their sibling’s nest.

Having two Omegas in the house would fill the home with such sweet scents.

When one of them is upset the other will comfort them and release calming scents to calm the upset sibling.

If they are both upset, expect a very distint buringin scent to fill the room.

They always share clothes.

Omega with a Beta Sibling

Since Betas are such great cooks, meals are always great.

However, no one is suddenly great, but the Omega Sibling with still eat the messed up dishes.

Betas learning how to build a nest.

Omegas learning how to cook.

They would stick up for one another when another Dynamic bullies them.

Omegas soothing their Beta sibling when they are upset.

Beta siblings being protective of their Omega sibling and going with them everywehre.

Omega with an Alpha Sibling

The Omega sibling being sad because their Alpha sibling gets away with more things than they do.

The Alpha sibling being overly protective of their Omega sibling, they would scent them and go with them places.

Omegas growing up to be more confident and out spoken like their Alpha sibling.

Alphas having a deep respect for Omegas since they see all sides of an Omega.

Beta with a Beta Sibling

Bakes sales.

Having classes together, and doing homework together.

They both understand how it feels to be overlooked. They reassure each other that they are important and worth loving.

If they move out, they’d be roommates. Clean roommates, messes aren’t their thing.

Beta with an Alpha Sibling

Alpha sibling always sticking up for their Beta sibling.

Alpha sibling never goig without a meal.

The Alpha sibling never being late to anything.

The Beta sibilng learning that not everything needs a place to go, it’s okay to be messy sometimes.

Alpha siblings always worried when they need to be separate from their Beta sibling, like for classes.

Beta siblings being more bold when they enter a room.

Extremely Competitive!

Either on the same sports team.

If on different teams, they’re team Captains.

They share clothes all the time, however, the other sibling doesn’t know.

Loud fights, almost physical. Punches may fly.

Lots of laughing, they have so many inside jokes.

Mess with one Alpha sibling, you mess with both Alpha siblings.

Imagine this: A long haired beta is helping their mate through their heat/rut and is giving them oral. But, uh-oh, some of their hair got in their mouth. Instead of simply brushing it out of the way and continuing. They make a show of sitting completely up, mumbling a quick 'hang on', maybe flexes or shifts to show off, and they slowly pull their hair back into a ponytail before they continue from where they left off. -TOA

Hi! Do you have any headcanons on Alpha/Iota relationships?

Hello! Sorry it took me so long to get around to your request, hun!

-Iotas are like Omegas, without being Omegas.

-Iotas aren’t submissive, and can’t be courted in the same way Omegas can.

-Most Alphas will court an Omega by giving gifts, or doing things to prove that they are a good mate.

-Iotas, while how they respond to gifts depends on the Iota, won’t exactly be wooed by gifts.

-If anything, Iotas respond the best to acts a sincerity. Meaning, if an Alpha wants to woo an Iota, they just need to act normally. Be their friend before their mate.

-As for the relationship, as stated previously, aren’t submissive. But, they aren’t inherently dominant either. They are passive in most situations. But they don’t like be overpowered. So, it’s possible that and Alpha an Iota will butt heads.

-But, once an Alpha learns to let up a little, and once an Iota realizes that the Alpha isn’t attempting to smother them, they’ll mesh very well.

-Iotas really enjoy physical affection, and enjoy cuddling. So, it’s very likely that an Iota will be clingy with an Alpha mate.

-Iotas also jump to comfort and calm, due to their Beta genes. So, an Iota won’t shy away from an angry Alpha, and instead will attempt to calm and comfort.

I am in need of some headcanons for a story I'm working on. Do you have any headcanons for omegaverse set in the time of kings, knights, and dragons? -TOA

Hey love. I’m sorry that I waited so long to get back to you with these hcs. Forgive me. <3

- often times omegas, no matter the gender will always be called queens. so will female betas

- ^ likewise with alphas, no matter the gender they will always be called kings. so will male betas

- mages/warlocks are alphas, witches are omegas. 

- often times the first male beta or alpha is the next heir in line to take the throne, though sometimes males are more desired 

- omegas weren’t often knights, perhaps they used to do help create strategizes more often than alphas and betas do 

- on a council, there are more alphas and betas than their are omegas (ex. 6 alphas, 5 betas, and like 3 omegas)

- there are rare amounts of omegas being queens and ruling greatly 

- alphas would have male beta servants only, omegas would have omegas and female beta servants only 

- * Knights are all exclusively Alpha, along with any masculine trades: hunting, blacksmithing, and such. Betas take up labor and skilled crafts: tailors, furriers, merchants, farmers (with Alphas standing in for large labor if necessary). Omegas are naturally kept in the home to birth children, keep house and weave.

- * There’s less class separation and more classification, with all classifications poor and rich cohabitating quite amicably, but Omegas being largely repressed.

- there are more omega physicians and midwives than any other dynamics

- ^the only omegas that are found during battles are physicians as well as spies 

- ^ omegas are the best spies and warriors because people underestimate them the most 

- dragon slayers are often alphas

- dragon riders are often done by omegas because they are the most motherly 

- omegas are more than often used to unite kingdoms or tame kingdoms that are at war

- * Omegaverse families are largely superstitious and believe fairies (a solely Omega race) kidnap Alpha pups, children and youths to raise and take forever. They warm their pups never to enter the woods at night, lest they be taken.

- * Arranged matings are popular, with young Alphas and Omegas paired and mated by their first heat/rut, which is spent together while the whole village collects around the cottage to guard and bless the couple.

- jesters are often just beta males

- councils would make alphas marry whoever they would choose, including beta women.

- ^ alphas in this situation would just get an omega consort because they couldn’t have pups with the beta woman

- there are many omega peasants due to the fact that alphas would often die in war or other reasons

- families wouldn’t have more than three or four pups (a litter or two), royalty would have as many pups as they would want

All the dynamics have a noise they make when they’re content or are comforting someone. 

Omegas will purr 

Betas will croon

Mating Runs

Mating runs are held annually in each county for all unmated dynamics that are of age. 

It is held during the spring and is mandatory for ALL unmated people. People can mate outside of a run, the run is strictly to bring people, who otherwise wouldn’t be together, together. 

For example, in America runs are sorted by counties. Then the people who did not get mated will go into a state wide run that starts in the beginning of summer and a nation wide run at the end. National runs are not mandatory but highly recommended. A person can also sign up for runs in other countries if they have run the national in their country twice. 

A Nation wide run is held the last two weeks of summer and it divided into sections, if people do not mate in their section they will move on the next section. Sections are divided like this

Sec1- Mon. Tues. Wed.

Sec2- Thru. Fri. Sat.

Sunday off

Sec3&4- same as 1&2

Example

person A is in Sec1. They did not find their mate in Sec1 so they move on to Sec2, still no luck. On Sunday they have a break to do whatever. Then again on Monday they run Sec3, and what do you know person B (aka their mate) was in Sec3 all along. 

During runs, Omegas and Female Betas are required to run first, and Alphas and Males Betas will follow shortly after. Not to say Fem Betas and Omegas don’t mate or Alphas and Male Betas don’t mate either, it’s just how they divide everyone up. 

The reason Sections, or any mating runs, last a few days is because some omegas heats will be triggered. If an Omegas heat is triggered their mate will find a place to hide them until their heat is over and if anyone tries to disturb them, they’re in for a vicious attack. 

Because mates are pre-destined most will know who their mate is before the run even starts. But mating out side a run (if you are a participant) is prohibited.

Do you have any theta headcanons?

I certainly do!

-Thetas, in their basic genetics, are actually Betas with a rare genetic mutation.

-In my verse, Betas having a special scent they let off that can calm Omegas and Alphas (and the other dynamics).

-Thetas also have this scent, but the genetic mutation multiplies it dozens of times.

-This scent is considered dangerous to other dynamics. As it can easily knock them out.

-Thetas are extremely rare, and are often shunned when they do turn up.

-There are medications to mask the scent, so they can be passed off as Betas (or Zetas).

-There are also surgeries to completely remove the glands that excrete the scent, leaving them nothing more than a Zeta.

headcanons on the gifts a/o's give when courting

-Most Alphas tend to have a general on what Omegas would want.

-^^^They usually give Omegas flowers, candy, or stuffed animals. As they are the easiest gifts to give.

-They will also give gifts like sewing kits or first aid kits. As they think Omegas will appreciate the practicality of those kinds of gifts.

-Omegas, however, do their research.

-Oh, you really like this kind of snacks. Well how about that, this Omega made you a plate full of them!

-Oh, you play baseball? Guess who got you a new mitt? This Omega!

-Oh, it’s getting cold out. Welp, I knitted this sweater, but its much too big for me. But it seems to be the right size for you! How about that?

-…You get the point.

-Betas also do their research. But aren’t as likely to make a gift for their crush.

-^^^Some Betas are more likely to make a gift, yes, but statistically, they’ll buy a gift.

-But overall, Betas are actually more likely to woo their crush by writing them notes and love letters. Maybe drawing them pictures.

headcanons for a/o's being in sports?

-In my verse, teams tend to be split between the dynamics. So there would be Alpha teams and Omega Teams.

-In some place there are separate teams for Betas, but usually Betas will just go onto an Alpha or Omega teams, dependent on the Beta.

-A long time ago, Omegas weren’t allowed to play sports that were considered dangerous. Like Rugby, football, or wrestling.

-But in current time, there are plenty of Omega rugby teams, and Omega wrestlers.

-Omega teams, especially in schools, will recruit male Betas to have an advantage. As male Betas tend to be stronger/faster than Omegas.

-In some places there are mixed teams, but they are never official teams.

What would an Omega/Gamma relationship be like?

Oh, excuse me, did you mean: The cuddliest couple ever?

-Firstly, Omegas tend to get close to a Gamma much sooner than an Alpha. 

-^^^Gammas are much more docile than an Alpha, and their scent isn’t quiet as sharp as an Alphas, making Omegas much more comfortable around them.

-Gammas are known to flee rather than fight, but when paired with an Omega, they become very protective of the Omega.

-^^^You’ll only ever see a Gamma get into a fight by them protecting their family/close friends/mate(s)/pup(s).

-Gammas have nesting instinct. They don’t make nests for themselves, but will for their mate(s) or pup(s).

-Gammas are very cuddly (not that Alphas aren’t, but Gammas tend to be more clingy than an Alpha).

-Gammas don’t feel the need to show off and impress an Omega, like an Alpha would.

-^^^But that doesn’t mean they don’t do things to impress an Omega, they’re just more likely to impress them with gifts and doing nice things for them. Instead of flaunting their strength.

-Gammas and Omegas, statistically, have larger litters of pups compared to any other pairing.

-Belly rubs happen often.

-Just cute couple.

-My fav.

Whenever a pup gets married and is ready to start their own family. Regardless of their dynamic. The mother of the family will give their pup one of the special blankets. One that they have kept since the pup was a child. If they are a/b, they will give the blanket to either their pup to help keep them warm after being born. If omega, they blanket will be the bottom piece of their nest.

….I literally just died like seven times because of this headcanons. I love this so god damn much, please put this on my tombstone. I want to die with this. I am crying.
