Greetings professor! It's a question I've been meaning to ask for quite some time now but I never had the guts to actually do it because of, shyness, heh... But now that I have plucked some courage, here I come! So, since Omegaverse is based on the concept of werewolves/wolf hierarchy; is it possible to imagine a society where they basically have the same belief system as ours (with Monotheism), but instead of our normal God it's more of a "Wolf God"? Maybe? I hope it's not too weird to ask. TC♥

Sure, you can image whatever you want. I, personally, have not seen a “Wolf God” yet. Mostly a Moon god/goddess.

Usually it’s called Omegaverse because it’s omega-centric.

But if you don’t want omegas to be in it, I think calling it by whatever dynamic is ok. Like betaverse.

You can call it whatever you want, really. However when you’re looking stuff up, the popular tags (in my opinion) are Omegaverse or Alpha/Beta/Omega (there are various ways to tag this one).

Is it possible for an Female Alpha to impregnate another Female Alpha?

Depends on your AU. Some AUs follow a more "realistic" laws where a male is needed to get a female pregnant. Some AUs say it's possible however it's much harder to become pregnant.

Welcome to the Omegaverse!

I will focus on an Omega's reaction here since it's in the ask. But there is no Official guidelines to reacting to a partner's death. Since everyone is different. But here are some HCs, anyways!

Depends on your AU:

Some markings are a one-and-done as you say. Every individual has to take deep consideration from every view point before mating. This shouldn't be taken lightly.

For one-and-done's the living partner just lost a half of themselves. Never to fill that void in their heart. Even if they look to mate again, it won't be the same.

For example: Sure, an omega's heat won't be as unbearable. But they aren't as satisfied (and I don't just mean physically).

For one-and-done's the living partner cannot take a new mark. It just won't stay. It'll fade just as fast as it appeared.

The living Omega lost their heart and home when losing their partner.

They will seek refuge of their home/nest, sadly their currently home/nest isn't the same. Some will tend to wonder a while looking for a new one.

They can mate again. It won't be the exact same as their first mating/marking, but they'll feel fuller again. More complete.

If they have pups/children they're trying to heal and continue going while caring for their family and how they are taking it as well.

In some AU’s pregnancy can happen at in and out of heat.

In some AU’s pregnancy can happen only during heat/rut.

In some AU’s heat/rut just have higher chances to become pregnant and then outside of heat/rut it’s a slim chance.

Some AU’s only focus on Alphas and Omegas, and the “non-designation humans” would be the Betas. Since in that AU, betas are considered the “normal humans”.

Some AU’s only children would be considered to be “non-designation” since they won’t know until they are older.

It’s your AU, you can have non-designated humans if you want and bend the rules to your liking!

Are irregular heats/ruts a thing? I know particularly intense ones are but what about skipping heats/ruts?

I’d like to think so!

- maybe missing a heat because of pregnancy.

- heats/rut patterns changing because of your friends who you hang out with the most (think periods synchronizing).

- taking medication to help balance out heats/ruts, making them easier to handle and/or get them to become more regular.

- irregular heats/ruts aren’t a bad thing, just annoying as heck.

- if your AU has it where you can only get pregnant during a Heat or impregnate during a Rut: having very few or very many opportune times to start having children.

Types of Omegaverse Tumblrs

Masters: These blogs seek to teach people about a/b/o as a form of education. They often are either writers, readers, or hobbyists who are interested in the genre and aim to help others with their writing, reading, etc... These blogs have a lot of information about a wide variety of omegaverse concepts. They also usually are very open to helping you with your question

Example: @omegaverse-professor , @omegaverse-seeker, @alpha-beta-omegaverse, @jar-of-omegaverse

Lifestylers: These blogs are run by people who love to emulate/identify as living within an a/b/o dynamic (known as miscecanis). They will often identify as a specific dynamic to educate their followers about, through headcanons, personal stories, etc... These blogs have a lot of information about anything that relates specifically about their dynamic. If you have questions about betas specifically, a bata focused lifestyle blogger would be a great resource

Example: @curious-omega , @sunshine-omega, @misce-beta, @miscecrisis

Artillery: These are blogs that love publishing their own headcanons. While Lifestylers and Informers also do this, artillery do it the most frequently and may be known for it. These blogs are great for coming up with new ideas, solving problems in your fic/AU if you’ve gotten stuck. They are also great places to go to brainstorm and be inspired.

Example: @omegaversethings, @betasverse, @abo-dreams, @omega-alpha-beta-dynamics

Generators: These bloggers are writers! They often have a specific fandom or ship that they are most well versed in, such as Stucky or MHA, and love to share their writing or prompts. If you are looking to write any kind of omegaverse story, this is a great place to start to learn the feel of using it as a plot device. Not all generators write exclusively omegaverse fics!

You can either have it where the Omega cannot disobey a direct Alpha Order / the Alpha Voice.

Or you can see it as a strong suggestion.

Depends on how courting works in your AU.

-But for simplicity, I like to think they work together to get the Omega courting gifts! Maybe they each get them a gift that works well with the other ones!

-The Omega having to work hard to find three equally unique and special gifts.

-If the Alphas weren’t friends/lovers, it’d be kinda funny (and embarrassing) if they ended up giving t the Omega the exact same thing!

-Group dates that need at least 4 players

-Omega ending up with a very unique smelling nest.

Over all, I think it would work. Especially if they are already comfortable with each other. Just don’t forget to communicate!

Professor, hello! I just wanted to ask how courting would be with a male omega and female alpha? Would gender roles still be at work or the alpha-omega roles take over instead? First time writing omegaverse here. Hehe. Thank you!

They’d follow the Alpha/Omega roles, and less of the Male/Female roles. Since in this universe, the biological gender (M/F) is seen as secondary and our main focus is the Alpha/Beta/Omega.

I think their “bark” is their way of just speaking loudly lol

In some AUs where they have the ability to transform into their wolf forms, they def can bark and howl.

My first thought was: Transdynamic. Based off the word Transexual, Transgender, etc.  My second thought: I love magic.  Third thought: They’d have to learn a to deal with their new behaviors and instincts. Along with new physical features. Their new role in the world, and how the world sees them. Do they know that they are transdynamic? How does being trans and transdynamic  work in your AU? How are they going to deal with being in a homodyanmic relationship? How will their partner react? How will their relation change/grow? etc.

Basic english def is:  behavior that is intended to impress or mislead - Google Perhaps, a character was trying to impress a potential mate, but it was all lies. For plot purposes lol  Since, Mate A, may try to impress or court Mate B, but it could be all based off lies to get them somewhere. The whole “be the real you” thrown out the window lol
