Hi guys, thanks for appreciating this blog on the short time it was active. I will not be updating it anymore because I just feel uninspired lately for many reasons. I will always love & support Blake’s music. I’m happy that this new record is doing well commercially for him but sadly for me as a fan, it felt uninspired with the exception of Savior’s Shadow which shows what Blake is capable of when he digs dip and put his heart and soul into something. It’s probably one of the reasons why I feel uninspired in this era as a fan. I also wish he’d make time as a member of the Grand Ole’ Opry, his greatest achievement as a country music artist according to him. I will never forget the joy and pride in his face when he was inducted and how he talked about it in many interviews. I believe his induction and winning his first CMA Award reignited his passion for what he does. I hope he finds that again. Hopefully, I’d be able to find that passion & inspiration as a fan in the future too.
Thanks again for the support!
P.S. I enjoyed If I'm Honest but I was just expecting more from Blake hence the "uninspired" comment. That man is a great writer when he puts his heart and soul into it and when he writes from an honest place - Over You, Savior's Shadow, Love Song, Here I Am, Bare Skin Rug to name a few.
