In this forest, there are two clans: BirdClan and SnakeClan. The two have been at war for longer than any elder has known. While BirdClan thrives on mice and fish, SnakeClan eats rabbits and voles. Mod for SnakeClan is adderclaw and BirdClan is betheowl. If you have any questions, ask them.

Sexuality: He's not entirely sure. He's either straight or bisexual and is trying to figure it out.

History: Born to two great warriors of Snakeclan, Bulling has always felt alot of pressure to be just as good as them. He's a new apprentice and is trying to prove himself to his clan.

Personality: Bullling is an incredibly shy cat who honestly believes he's never going to become a warrior. He constantly trips himself up while training, and then brings himself down because of it. He is polite when spoken too, but has trouble opening up to most cats.

RP Sample: Bullling watched from the shadows as a vole scuttled amongst the undergrowth. Although the sun was shining at its highest point, the thick forest canopy kept most of the small clearing shaded. As he watched the vole, Bulling tried to remember the lessons that his mentor taught him.

"Keep yourself balanced," He thought. "Make sure you're downwind." Dread surged through him, he hadn't checked to make sure he was downwind! "You mousebrain!" He focused back on the vole; it had stopped moving and was standing alert, it's nose sniffing the air. "It smells you, go now before it runs away!"

He shot out of his hiding space, but the vole had already taken off. With a growl of frustration he gave chase to the prey. The vole was quick, but Bullling was catching up. He was only a few steps behind it, he was gonna get it! His triumph was ripped away as he was jerked backwards, an acute pain shooting up his back leg. He had gotten his paw stuck in a cluster of roots! With a yowl of pain, he fell to the ground as the vole disappeared  into the woods. Wrenching his leg out of the trap, Bullling sighed, feeling defeated.

"I guess I'm going back to camp empty-pawed again."

Pronouns: He/him Picture/Description of Cat:A big, hefty black tom with green eyes, a wide head, and small ears. His tail is shorter in length, and he has unusually large paws.  His fur is long  and tends to catch burrs and other random forest items in it.

Name: Gullbeak

History: Gullbeak was born as an only kit to Cootfeather and Pitpitcrest. He had a relatively normal kithood although he never felt like he was the right gender. Asking the elders about this they told him that other cats became different genders and others have two genders. Gullbeak at first changed his gender to male when he became an apprentice but them found being more confortable as a demiboy using he and they pronouns.Besides this Gullbeak had a normal apprenticeship and became a warrior at the age of 13 moons.

Personality: Gullbeak is a calm cat who doesn't desire conflict. However, he is pretty lazy. although he wants to please cats, he doesn't want to do much in order to please them. Gullbeak cannot read emotion well and doesn't know when he is upseting other cats. Gullbeak is optimistic and tries to help cats see the bright side and is great at trying to make other cats feel better.

RP Sample: Gullbeak felt a paw prod him on the back repeatedly. Groaning he looked up from his curled up position and saw a fellow warrior's blurred face. "fine.. I'm up. I'm up" Gullbeak grumbled and slowly stretched out and stumbled out of the moss he was lying it. When he finally got up the warrior was no where to be seen and felt a prickling pain on his chest. he searched for the source and couldn't find it anywhere. Must have been a splinter, well its gone now. Gullbeak thought and turned around padding out of the warriors den.

Name: Ploverdown Clan: BirdClan Rank: Warrior Age: 16 moons Gender: She-cat Sexuality: Homosexual History: Ploverdown was born to a litter of two, and she loved her brother dearly. Her kithood and time as an apprentice was rather uneventful, except for one time when she decided to learn how to swim and nearly drowned in the dark water. Fortunately, she was saved by a rouge passing by. She then chased the lonely cat away. Personality: Ploverdown is a very noisy cat, not following instructions that good and thinking that she knows best. She has a tendency to boss other cats around and this trait has given her a pretty bad reputation. She is afraid of the river. RP Sample: Ploverdown ducked in under the safe roof that covered the Warriors’ den. The rain was pouring outside - and she didn’t like it. Her soaked fur was laying flat against her body and she was shivering. “I hate water.” She grumbled and shook her head, water spraying over the nearby cats causing them to hiss at her. Ploverdown sighed and crawled deeper into the den to escape the angry cats and to be alone. Pronouns: She/her Picture/Description of Cat: White pelt with a light grey mask and mantle, and black markings on her ears, shoulders and tailtip. Her eyes are pale brown.

SnakeClan medicine cat, Lizardtail, has received word from ReptileClan that they must go on a journey to get some herbs for healing bad eyesight.

They will be gone for an unknown amount of time, but will return in due time.

Name: Swallowcrest Clan: Birdclan Rank: warrior Age: 24 moons Gender: female Sexuality: Gay

History: She had a relatively normal kithood, but spent a lot of time trying to get better at climbing trees due to her habit of falling out of them as an apprentice. Only four moons after her warrior ceremony, she found Shrikewing on the edge of their territory and brought him back to the clan, where she was made his mentor. Personality: Fun loving but also no nonsense. She knows how to make the most of her situation and get her way. RP Sample: Her tail swings low over the branch she rests on. Below, the unassuming apprentice wanders without worry. She swivels her ears back to note the slight sounds of squirrels and birds in the higher branches.

As he meanders closer, Swallowcrest digs her back claws into the branch and prepares to jump. At the last second he turns his gaze upward and freezes in confusion. She takes the opportunity and lunges down on top of him, effectively knocking the breath out of him and pinning him to the forest floor.

"You need to be more alert, or you’ll end up more than breathless."

Picture/Description of Cat: She’s small, but her long legs almost make up for it. Her fur is a silky blue-gray with a large white patch on her left flank, and dark green eyes.

Name: Shrikewing (fleck)

History: .Shrikewing’s mother was a rouge. Swallowcrest brought him to BirdClan due to his odd fascination with her. He seemed normal enough at first, but as he got older, his odd ticks and tendinces became more pronounced. Swallowcrest is his mentor due to the fact he seems to worship her.

Personality: In a single word, they’re flighty. Scared of the worst outcomes. They see it as the glass half empty, and almost always have a tremble in the tip of their tail.

There’s notably something off about the tom, however. Something strange about his odd desire to torture his prey and tricky words.

RP Sample: Shrikewing’s whole body was tense as his lean muscle curled under his dark fur. His muzzle had curled into it’s manic grim, snaggle tooth poking out. The little mouse near his paw wouldn’t suspect a thing. He always lured prey near sharp objects when he was alone. It helped him live up to his suffix.

Rearing, Shrinkewing struck, dazing the mouse. Gripping it with his sharp teeth, he slammed it onto the dull rock near his paws.

History: She’s lived a pretty average life so far, especially considering how young she is. Nothing special to note on, really.

Personality: Littlewing is a huge go-getter with boundless energy which can get a little obnoxious time to time, especially since she doesn’t always act her own age. She doesn’t take criticism or scolding very well and can have her feelings hurt rather easily. Super friendly and talktative with her clanmates, yet can be a little hostile with those outside her clan.

RP Sample: Littlewing stumbled from the apprentice den, drowsiness still fogging her head. Coming from the entrance she dipped down into a long stretch, her jaws splitting into a huge yawn as her claws scraped at the earth. As she stood back up, she gave her pelt a good shake before glancing around camp. It didn’t seem too busy yet still, camp remained alive and well with cats about each of their own business.

The small she-cat’s tail gave a wave as she began to bound over to the fresh-kill pile. “Good morning!” she mewed loudly to the cats nearby, bending down to snag herself a mouse to eat before padding to a cat close by and settling somewhat near to them. “Nice day out, isn’t it?” she asked warmly before taking a bite from her plump, juicy mouse.

Description: A slim female calico with amber eyes and long curly fur on her chest, belly, cheeks, rump, and tail, though otherwise her fur is short and sleek.

History: Adderslide has been a member of SnakeClan since she could remember. During her training to become a warrior she realized her skill in battle strategy.

Personality: A rather level headed and calm molly. She is curious and loves learning new things, as well as listening to stories.

RP Example: Adderslide kept low to the ground, her curly belly fur kicking up small traces of dry soil. Her long tail waves rhythmically and her ears pull flat against her head. She narrows her eyes and shifts on her paws, her claws piercing the ground. She has been at this all day. The rhythmic movements of the foliage, the soft sounds of her surroundings, it was almost therapeutic as she let her mind relax. Her fur bristled with a cold breeze that brought the scent of the creature which she was hunting back into her nose. She licked her muzzle as she stalked forward, her paws moving rhythmically similar to that of the creature of which she was named.

Name: Silverwing

History: Silverwing was born as a kittypet. He lived in a near-ruined home that was full of other cats. The lot of them lived in the yard of the home, where they mostly had to fend for, and feed, themselves. This often lead to fights in the yard, which is how Silverwing got the notch in his ear.

Personality: Quiet and reserved, he won’t speak much unless spoken to. Around cats that he knows better, however, he opens up more, becoming somewhat sassy and joking around them.

RP Sample: The Rex cowered close to the ground as a group of much larger, much more experienced cats closed in on him. He didn't want this of course, however, he had broken the rules of the yard and the others did not tolerate any ‘rebels’ within their group. His entire body shook as he watched them come closer. His golden eyes darted around him looking for a way out of this situation— his eyes widened for a moment as he spotted a small gap in the enclosing circle of cats. He adjusted his paws underneath him and pounced, launching himself forward he gave himself a running start as he hurdled his way through the cats, he didn't get out scotch-free though. As he bolted past, a pair of cats reached out just in time to score their claws down his face and sides. One of their claws caught on Silverwing’s ear and ripped a small piece of it off. He yowled in pain and quickened his pace as he ran for the rundown fence that would stop the cats behind him. The Rex squeezed himself through a hole in the bottom of the fence, which the other cats couldn't fit through. However, the cats could climb the fence, but by the time they had, Silverwing had vanished into the tall grass surrounding the lot

He has a white blaze that covers his muzzle. His right, rear leg has a white “sock” marking on it, and his left  ear has a small notch cut out of it, a result of a fight he was in as a kittypet.

History: His mother ran away from a kittypet place and into the wild for unknown reasons. The mother gave birth and eventually passed away. Spiderfang was born as a single member litter, and was eventually picked up by a snakeclan cat and cared for. They’ve proven to be agile, yet lacking in combat. They have several vivid dreams, some being from spirits of the dark forest. Spiderfang dreams of leaving the clan and being on his own, something he’d be far comfortable with, but he stays only for protection, or sometimes questions the hopes of becoming a clan leader.

Personality: This cat does not talk much and is incredibly grouchy. It takes a while for them to get used to someone. They don’t even trust their own clan mates very well unless they’ve formed a strong friendship over time, so they’ll be picky to who they’re kind to and who they want to protect. Friendships and romance is possible, it just takes a while to break through that barrier. 

RP Sample: This siamese was panting heavily, and even though it felt as if his legs were swelling he had to keep running. The enemy warriors chasing him must have abandoned the trail so long ago, but Spiderfang was determined to warn his clan to safety. Images kept rushing through his head of his clan mates being thrown and tackled everywhere. Blood flying, throats ripping, crying.. This couldn’t be happening.
