As of TODAY Twitch has quietly added the Generative Ai Training model into your account without your permission.

For the time being it is TOGGLEABLE and you can TURN IT OFF!

However, we do not know if Twitch will force this to be on at all times like some other platforms, like X/Twitter, have previously done.

Regardless of IF YOU STREAM OR NOT you should TURN THIS "TRAINING FOR GENERATIVE AI" SETTING OFF IMMEDIATELY!

To do so you must go to: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/security

And then scroll all the way down near the bottom.

There you'll find the "Training for Generative Ai" setting, toggle it to OFF!

Be sure to keep sending messages to Twitch that you do NOT want this to exist.

My predictions/hopes for n.o.m

He either dies in the most climactic way possible or kills EVERYONE else and is the final one standing

"Oh no I'm sure he could never hurt me" "yeah don't worry id never hurt you" slow gaining of trust/manipulation game where he tricks someone into genuinely believing he isn't as bad as they say. He kills them eventually. He doesn't feel at all remorseful either.

"Hey everybody look at this guy I found in the boiler room he seems chill" sweet oblivious person showing off the guy they found who is very obviously Not Right and also covered in unfathomable quantities of blood

Some people are completely obvious to how dangerous he is and just interact with him like he's a regular android. Other people are hiding in the storage rooms shaking because WHY ARE THEY TALKING TO THE MASS MURDERER

Also I need Nq!Mae to interact with him so badly and decide they're friends now. And Nq!Rae is the "that thing is covered in blood don't touch it put it back you don't know where its been" type character.

reading this makes me feel like my genuine hope that he is absolutely terrifying and kills so many people and does all the great evil things and is super scary is a valid thing and I’m here for each and every one of these ideas. The idea of Jaw/Abel and N.O.M. having Something Going On/history is such a fun idea.

I had in my brain Abel investigating Nq!Wades disappearance after the company swept it under the rug and N.O.M "helping" him because Abel doesn't know it was him.

I need a moment of Abel realising just who he's talking to, that his new "friend" knows a little more about this situation than he should.

My Nq!N.O.M theory

This has a lot of speculation, and I probably omitted a few details because I couldn't explain them in the realm of this theory.

I may throw some of my actual explanations into the reblogs if anyone wants that.

I'm probably wrong, and this theory is too convoluted, but I'm attached to it now.

Spoiler wall :)

I believe that Nq!N.O.M was part of the first wave of androids that were scrapped. I dont believe he was part of the Origins patch. I believe he avoided this by swapping with a bot from the Origins patch. But, I believe he actually destroyed his own ID and took the ID of the bot he swapped with, letting the bot get scrapped without an ID, assuming no one would notice. I believe he did this so no one would suspect the droids were swapped. So that if they notice a missing droid, they'll look for the wrong one. I think he then erased the ID he now holds to make it his own. Identity seems important to Nq!N.O.M, so even though it was a necessary evil, I don't think he would want to live as an android he is not for longer than need be. This is why there is a missing ID, because he destroyed his own along with the swapped bot and then erased the ID he now holds. He then leaves. He has erased all information about the bot he swapped with, intent on making his new identity his own. He has also fully erased "his" ID, which is why his USB has no identifiable information on it. Just what he goes by. N.O.M. I think the reason he goes by N.O.M is that that model of android shouldn't exist anymore. His batch was dismantled, after Nq!Wade died his investigation was swept under the rug, and it's been so long that the new N.O.M Origins droids have now grown obsolete. Now he's the only one. He still exists as Chrysalis's first and biggest mistake.

To add to him forging his own identity, I believe he removed the casing from his arm himself. Maybe he gained a small injury and couldn't be asked to actually repair it. Maybe he just felt like it. This means that it's been anywhere from a few minutes to a few years since he did this because apparently rust can occur very quickly or very slowly depending on literally nothing. I think he also made his own eyes red and caused the seam in his face.

Please help me I've been thinking about this for hours and i still feel like I'm missing something.

(im gonna be so fr reading this helped me understand a little more about the trailer itself bcs I was kinda lost all the talk about IDs and recallings and such confused my brain for some reason so this helped me think a little better tysm)

Im gonna be so fr, it feels like it stands on its own pretty well to me. Perhaps the sense of a missing component could be from a factor we simply don't have yet bcs the series hasn't started yet? Him doing the damage to his arm/leaving it exposed without bothering to repair it is so interesting. Honestly I had the idea that maybe he took it off to shoot Wade (My logic being that a metal hand without the skin would in theory not leave fingerprints, meaning N.O.M. could therefore easily make Wade's death look self-caused) and maybe never put it back on, but that primarily hinges on the gap of time between NQH!Wade's death and the start of the series, and does not take into account the seam along his face as your idea does.

I honestly just felt like it was a little complex, and I was ignoring an obvious explanation in favour of the super complicated theory. Like, why go through the trouble of destroying your own ID when you could just leave it swapped. If they don't notice a droid with no ID, they probably won't notice a droid with a mismatched ID.

I really just wanted to find a use for both batches of androids being mentioned in the trailer. There has to be a reason for them, but I feel like some of the ID stuff didn't quite match up as well as it could.

And part of the reason I think he actually damaged himself is because I've been storyboarding an animatic in my head (that I don't have the artistic talent to make) whenever i listen to a couple of songs from the Nq!N.O.M playlist and there's a scene I really like where he kinda just crashes out and rips the casing off his arm and goes, wait, this is kinda fucking sick actually.

But also, my interpretation of N.O.M is that his own identity, specifically an identity he made himself, is incredibly important to him. So he sort of "customised" himself to be separate from Chrysalis and become his own person. Cc!Nom could have committed to the swapped thing (if that is what happened) and made it actually look like his USB is for a different droid. But if N.O.M. is the kind of character I think he is, doing that would be a huge disservice to him because it's making him pretend to be something he's not.
