How come Qiu's parents don't know their favorite colour? In the assistant moment it mentioned that they bought them a bike with gold rimmed wheels and a gold suspension but that wasn't their favorite color anymore; It's now silver. Is it because Qiu hasn't told them or maybe they just haven't noticed yet?

Qiu hasn't told them. They're being a little emotional and thinking those are their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lin should figure it out from context clues or talking to other people. But Qiu's parents still do remember what Qiu's favorite color was when they did tell them even though they're not so sharp that they've found out something Qiu has kept from them.

Qiu wants to be understood but sometimes they want that without having to explain and then they're disappointed when that doesn't happen.

THE DEMO IS SO GOOD

When you choose your mc to have a crush on one of the love interests they'll also have a crush on you. But we also get the option to choose if our mc is oblivious, accepting orbin denial of the crush they have. Does that part also work the same way? If we choose to be in denial about it will the love u interest be thinking the same way?

It's only the MC's deal, haha. The other leads have their own views regardless of MC's perspective. In Step 2, Qiu is not in denial or oblivious to MC's feelings no matter what. In Step 2, Tamarack doubts the MC could really like her no matter what but knows she likes the MC.

i'm not sure if this was ever answered in a qna or addressed in the game, but is there a reason why s1 tamarack has a teeny tiny tear on her sleeve?

She pulls at her closes and wears them thin. Sometimes her sleeves also get snagged in branches. Then when holes appear, she sticks her fingers through them, which makes them bigger. It's a nervous habit.

Have you ever considered making a canon neurodivergent female mc? Don’t get me wrong, the canon neurodivergent rep we have with Qiu and Cove are amazing and I can’t wait to see it. But it also sort of gives a bad taste where males are diagnosed more often than females. Which, if you’re trying to communicate and show could involve having a step 3 female diagnosed as neurodivergent or a step 1/2 male diagnosed as neurodivergent. I just think it would be cool to have some more rep when it comes to neurodivergence, showing people who were diagnosed at a younger age, having female neurodivergent rep, parent with neurodivergence, etc.

I'm not sure if you've only played Step 1 and didn't read the game's info, but Qiu isn't male. They are genderfluid, non-binary. So please don't call them male in the future! And all three of the Our Life main leads have a diagnosis of some kind. Cove is autistic, Qiu has ADHD, and Tamarack has anxiety. It's the triple A set. But those are the only three characters with a diagnosis that is mentioned in-game because the side characters aren't a big enough focus for them to mention that they have a diagnosis and have it be explored in the story. I won't be able to have even more characters talking about it in the two OL games. I'm sorry for that.
