@tamriel-rebuilt
Coming Soon.
Tamriel Rebuilt is pleased to announce the release of build 1912 - Aanthirin. With our last release, 1807 - Old Ebonheart, we could only show you a glimpse of the lands that Saint Veloth himself once ventured through. Now, we can finally present you the whole region and allow you to see the places where the Saint tamed the tumbling waters of the Thirr River during his great exodus to the Sacred East. Venture through the rich soils and gently flowing waters of Aanthirin, the crossroads of Morrowind.

We are once again back with another Tamriel Rebuilt showcase. Sequel to the Hlaalu-Thirr Preview video, this time we are looking at the landscape of Indoril-Thirr, Indoril controlled side of the Aanthirin region, the crossroads of Morrowind. Enjoy.

In the turbulent dawn of Tribunate Morrowind, the Indoril chapel of Roa Dyr was built on a tributary of the Thirr River. Its tasks were to spread the fledgling faith and enforce its laws by word or sword. It stands watch there even now, as new threats to Tribunal faith and law are beginning to emerge to challenge it.
Newest content release of Tamriel Rebuilt, one of the oldest mods for The Elder Scrolls franchise, is coming very soon. Stay tuned.

With a quest number of 293 (Version 19.07) compared to 277 (ignoring radiant quests) and with a released area bigger than TESIV’s exported Cyrodiil map, Tamriel Rebuilt has officialy more content than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and will only keep getting bigger.
Tamriel Rebuilt needs you.
First of all, let's start with a short introduction. Tamriel Rebuilt is a project that aims to complete development of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind by reconstructing the world to include the province’s mainland, through the study of creation of lore, and preservation of the game’s creative vision and direction. The project is almost 18 years old and it has taken many years to accomplish our existing work, but that time was also split between side projects, reorganizing our development processes, interpersonal conflicts, and redoing very early efforts.
Thanks to the precious work of our dear developers, Tamriel Rebuilt's organization and administration has became stable and productive in the recent years and we released our first content release after 6 years, Old Ebonheart, in 2018. And we are proud to say that we are preparing for our next release titled Aanthirin, and it's expected to come out in mid to late Summer 2019.
But Tamriel Rebuilt is a big undertaking. There is a lot to do, and all of our developers are volunteers who spends their little free time working on the mod so we can release new updates for Morrowind community to enjoy. We'd like to release content more frequently as much as you do, but with the lack of manpower we can only do so much. But many hands make light work and for that we need your help.
If you love Morrowind and its world, interested in the creation of mods or games, or if you just want a creative outlet in a lively online community, consider contributing to Tamriel Rebuilt in some way.
What does Tamriel Rebuilt need?
There are many types of work that go on at the project on a daily basis. Here are some of the more common activities that we can always use an extra hand with:
Level Design (Exterior & Interior)
By using the Morrowind's Construction Set, you build the exterior world, the cities and settlements, and the interiors; the houses, caves and temples that the player visits in the game. We do not have many exterior claims available at the moment due to the lack of models and assets, but we have lots of interiors claims that needs to be made for further progressing the upcoming regions.
Quest Design
Probably the most help needed area is the quest development. Our next stops in our overall pipeline are regions and locations in the mainland where the exterior design is complete but needs to be populated with NPCs and quests. You create many quests for the player to undertake, create interesting characters and write dialogue. If you don't want to deal with implementing the quest and only want to offer us creative ideas about a quest you came up with, you are welcome to do so. If you are eager to both design and implement quests but don't know how, we have many tutorials in our website. Check out the links down below.
Playtesting
Like I mentioned above, we create new and complex quests and implement them in-game but we also need to make sure they work properly. If you'd like to help us playtest our work in progress quests, let us know in the forums or our Discord server.
Concept Art
Morrowind is a place of wonder with it's strange but beautiful environments and alien wildlife. If you have the imagination and the artistic skills to show us what it should look like, let us know. You help us visualize the world of Morrowind and create the designs that our 3D artists work from.
3D Models & Textures
Even though our project builds upon an existing game, we have too little to work with to create the rest of Morrowind. If you have the 3D skills to provide us with everything ranging from architecture, wildlife and equipment, to even the little colorful knickknacks that we need to build our game world, let us know. We have many bottleneck assets waiting to be made that prevents us from progressing further south in the mainland.
Lore & Writing
Morrowind has a vast fictional background and much of it is conveyed through text. If you have a way with words and can help us expand that world, making it even more captivating and fantastical, you can help us extend our own lore and write in-game lore books.
Website & Administration
Like any large project, we need people that can keep things tidy with our project framework and most importantly, our website. At the moment we have only one webmaster that takes care of our website and we'll appreciate any help we can get to improve it.
Video Editing
Tamriel Rebuilt makes videos to promote its content like any other project. We’re looking for people with the skills to record footage and edit videos. Video types could include announcement videos, interviews, highlights on particular parts of lore, etc.
If you'd like to help implementing the mod in Construction Set, like interior and quest design, but don't know how, we have many tutorials for beginner modders in our website. You can find the necessary links down below. If you have more questions about a certain subject you can always ask us in our forums or on our Discord server for a fast reply.
I decided to help, how do I start?
First and foremost, make an account for yourself on our forum. If you'd like to help us with the Construction Set and make interiors, exteriors or quests, you'll need to make a showcase. Guidelines and requirements for showcases can be all be found in Modders Guide section in our website. You do not have to create showcases for quest ideas or concept art, just submit a claim to our asset browser in our website and we'll take a look at it and discuss together on how to improve it. Forum members are also encouraged to visit our Discord server to learn more about the project or for quick answers regarding your questions. Also don't forget to attend our weekly public development meetings on Sundays.
