Murder Mystery AU: The Dance
amberjade-rhodesâ:
âIf the feeling is mutual, you should ask me out for a drink. Iâd like to flirt with you outside of the walls of this buildingâ, Amber said boldly, confident that the other woman would be interested in that. âUnfortunately not, Iâd have to stop giving you compliments entirely as Iâd be worried about over-inflating your egoâ, she teased. âWednesday afternoons usually work well for me, I donât have work or classes so I could easily come and watch youâ.
Tamsin was a bit taken aback by how forward Amber was, but she gave the other girl a smile. âI would be honored to take you out for a drink. Mars bar sound good?â she asked her, adjusting her hair. âWell thatâs a real shame. I guess Iâll just have to keep complimenting you then?â she teased back. âLike how beautiful your hair is right now in this lighting.â she complimented. âWednesdays work for me too. I only have two classes. You would be more than welcome to sit in during one of them.â
fuckinyazzyâ:
âDo I?â She asked with a grin. Yasmine shrugged, seating herself on the edge of her bed. âI guess I shouldnât joke about dancing, then,â she noted, smirking since most of her music was definitely not fit for this situation. âYou might want to connect your phone to that.â
âWell, at least you should by now.â she teased back. She nodded as Yasmine spoke, working on connecting her phone to the speakers. She went through her playlists, finding her sexual music before starting one of the songs and turning around. âI think you might enjoy this.â
lilykozmaquinnâ:
âhonestly at some point when i have time, i might have to take you up on that offer.â lily considered. âthe blonde hair suits you and its a shame that sheâs so traditional.â she often wondered about her own parenting styles and really hoped that she wouldnât become that person for her daughter. âyeah, violet. she goes here. i did have another sister but she died when i was a kid.â
Tamsin nodded. âWell just let me know. It would be fun.â she smiled. âThank you. Sheâs not too terrible. She tries really hard to let me be my own person, so at least sheâs trying you know?â she explained. âOh I donât think Iâve met a Violet yet. Well the name sounds a little familiar. Itâs nice the two of you go to the same school.â
fuckinyazzyâ:
âWhat a line,â she teased. âThat is so soft.â Yasmine raised her eyebrows since the girl had been serious about showing her a dance, but ultimately gave a grin at her words. âWell I was joking, but since you werenât I donât see why not.â
Tamsin gave a sexy bite to the air in front of Yasmineâs face. âYou know how I do.â she said. She laughed as Yasmine said she didnât expect a dance. âAs if Iâd ever turn down a chance to dance.â she said, walking over to where her bluetooth speaker was in her room. âWhy donât you sit down somewhere comfortable.â she suggested as she started to search for a perfect song.
lilykozmaquinnâ:
âadmirable or just a bad fighter?â lily put her hands in a weighing scale kind of motion, laughing. âi donât even know how my parents would react. i donât think my mum would expect it from me. my sister, sure, but me, no.â
Tamsin cracked a big smile. âWell I could always show you some moves. So long as you can defend yourself, it doesnât matter.â she admitted. âWell I just know my mom very well. Sheâs from Japan and is a bit of a traditionalist. Like, sheâs not a fan of my blonde hair.â she shrugged. âYou have a sister though? Any other siblings?
amberjade-rhodes·:
âThen weâre agreed that Iâm not buttering you up, Iâm just being very honest about the fact that I find you attractive and charmingâ, Amber told the other woman. âSomething tells me that if I give you too many compliments, your ego might get too bigâ, she teased. âAt least this time youâve been asked to show off, that definitely works in your favor hereâ.
Tamsin let out a light laugh, smiling at the girl. âThen may I say the feeling is very mutual?â she flirted back. She chuckled as she was teased. âWhat if I tell you my ego is already pretty big? Will that give me more compliments?â she teased back. âWell just name the time and place and I will give you quite the show.â
lilykozmaquinnâ:
âiâm definitely more of a use words and talk it out person. fighting just seems useless for me. plus iâd definitely get my ass handed back to me.â lily told her.Â
Tamsin found herself nodding. âThatâs admirable.â she agreed âI try my best not to fight. It wasnât how I was raised. I know my mother would curse me out in japanese if she even thought I was fighting with someone.â
fuckinyazzyâ:
âLike pink hair bows and bubblegum cute or cute cute?â She asked, making no move to protest when she was backed into the door, chuckling once. Yasmineâs lips met hers just as lightly, a grin forming once she pulled away. âYouâre an idiot,â she said when Tamsin apologized, rolling her eyes as she did so.
Tamsin smirked. âCute cute. As in so cute I donât know how I keep myself from kissing you everytime I see you.â she said sincerely. Yasmine was beautiful, and Tamsin always enjoyed spending time with her. She laughed as Yasmine called her an idiot. âI am indeed.â she agreed with a smile. âNow, I believe I owe someone a dance?â
loveybuchananâ:
She drummed her fingernails on top of the table they were both sitting at, her mouth curving into a half smile. âThe way you didnât run off when I tried to scare you away with my attitude, I guess,â Lovey replied simply. âHead cheerleader. Iâm in the air a lot more than on the ground, though.â The smaller girl chuckled. âAs much as Iâd love that, I donât know if Iâve got the time.â An eye roll came from Lovey when she started flirting again. âWell, this conversation was nice while it lasted,â she taunted jokingly, getting up as if to leave her there.
Tamsin nodded along as Lovey explained. âWhat can I say? I really needed to sit down.â she joked back. âWow, so you go up and do those jumps and shit? I could never.â she said. âHeights freak me out a bit.â she explained. Tamsin nodded and then shrugged. âWell, if you ever find the time and find the need, Iâd be happy to help.â she shot Lovey one of her trademark smiles. âWait wait donât leave yet.â she pleaded playfully. âIf I promise to turn my flirt machine off, will you stay a little longer? Or can I at least get your number?â
amberjade-rhodes·:
Amber just smiled when the other woman said that she appreciated that. âIs it really trying to butter you up if Iâm telling the truth?â Amber questioned. âIf youâre good at something, you should definitely show off. Itâs what I would do if I was in your shoesâ.
Tamsin couldnât help the small chuckle at Amberâs words. âNo, I suppose itâs not.â she said happily. âFeel free to keep the compliments coming. Iâm pretty good at taking them.â she said playfully to the other girl. âWell I do try and show off often. especially in dance team. Just ask Addison, sheâs always trying to rein me in.â she laughed.Â
Whatâs one thing youâre grateful for?
âWeed! Just kidding, Iâm super grateful for music. Music can make you feel something completely different than what youâre already feeling, or it can even deepen your feelings. Plus, you canât dance without music.â
fuckinyazzyâ:
âHi,â Yasmine greeted her back, a flush coloring her cheeks as she did so. It really wasnât like her to get so nervous, but girls were a completely different ball game than boys.Â
Tamsin grinned, her placing her hands lightly on Yasmineâs waist. âYouâre so cute.â she said softly, slowly moving Yasmine so her back was against the door. She leaned in and kissed her, slowly and softly, her hips pressing against the slightly shorter girls. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and pulled back. âSorry. I couldnât help myself.â
loveybuchananâ:
âThat also doesnât surprise me,â she said with a chuckle. âThatâs what cheerleading is for me,â Lovey admitted with a nod. She wasnât usually so agreeable, but she was finding it hard to keep up her mean streak. âYouâre putting a lot of confidence in me, blondie. I could be a terrible dancer.â She raised her brows. âI canât say I know the feeling, but it sounds like you do.â Lovey rolled her eyes. âTechnically I threatened to slap you, and you were totally going to let me.â She pretended to think over the question before answering it. âI guess youâll just have to figure that out all by yourself.â
Tamsin laughed along. âWhat gave it away?â she asked with a grin. âOh youâre a cheerleader? Nice. Iâm on dance team.â she shrugged at Lovey. âWell if you canât dance, I hereby offer to teach you.â she said, placing her hand on her chest as if she was swearing something important to the other girl. âWell I wouldâve taken the slap from someone as hot as yourself.â she flirted, before grinning. âI guess Iâll have to work on getting to know you better so I can figure that out.â
listenlexieâ:
;; âOh God! When did I become a dork?!â Lexie joked back. âYou know what? Iâll give you that. You sure are creative!â
âWhen you called me a dork!â she laughed. She struck a cocky pose. âThe most creative.â
lilykozmaquinn·:
âi definitely agree with you. i always thing itâs better to use words than use fists.â lil said, clearly not noticing any kind of flirting and just thinking the other girl was being friendly. âi will do!â
Tamsin chuckled softly. âYeah thatâs one way to put it.â she joked. âI mean donât get me wrong, sometimes you need to fight a bitch, but I tend to use my charm to get out of those situations.â she admitted
amberjade-rhodes·:
âIâm definitely getting that special vibe from youâ, Amber lightly flirted. âI think weâre going to have to agree to disagree here because I certainly think that Iâm the lucky oneâ, she replied. âI donât know if Iâd be any good at dancing but Iâd love to watch you perform sometimeâ.
Tamsin smiled as she noticed Amber starting to flirt back with her. âI appreciate that.â she said. She cocked her head to the side, her cheeks showing some color. âWell now youâre just trying to butter me up.â she said cockily. âOh Iâd love that. Iâm a bit of a showoff.â
