T (Tamika) this New York gal by way of Jamaica + J (Jane) a Canadian gal by way of China Met approximately 4 years ago at a well known multi-line fashion showroom in Los Angeles, CA Here’s a funny: T hired J as an intern! They soon discovered they had a lot in common with their birthdays being 2 days apart and born in the same year. Go Aquarians! Oh yeah, be on the look out for one of their fav lines : “It’s an aqua thing” The friendship was solidified and T and J moved apart and on to some bigger and better things. Experiencing more fashion fun: working with a major pr house, assisting top stylists for a list clients, editorials, television shows, etc, designing clothing and jewelry, wholesale sales and traveling for tradeshows and road appointments, consulting, and more. You name it, T and J did it! It made perfect sense in June 2011, during one of T and J’s daily convos, when they decided to partner up and build a fashion empire. So now you know their story.

Zooey Magazine and Love Is Louder celebrated their 1 year anniversary together at the W Hollywood Hotel rooftop pool Drais Nightclub.
