Oh, it sucks so much that Tumblr didn't save your progress. I hope you weren’t too far into it. It is infuriating when that happens. Do you think about writing in an offline word program with autosave turned on, to avoid something like this from happening again?

mmm, i will try to release or finish writing it today and as for chapters, i tend to write long text with minimal chapters most of the time, so it could be like 4-5 chapters and each being for like a 15 min read for me... i don't really count my words tbf, and i just realized most of my progress was deleted bc tumblr refused to save it for me. well, okay. ill write the first chapter and ill see!

Because you have watched FMAB a long time ago and don't remember it well, I don't think it would be fair of me to request a FMAB fanfic from you now. It's a whole manga/anime. So, I'll share a request of a fanfic from a movie instead. My idea is a concept that I've seen being done only in one fanfic, so I would love to see how various writers, such as you, tackle it! By the way, like every request I ever made and ever will make to any author, it should 100% be SFW. I'm never interested in anything NSFW.
My request is for a Monsters vs. Aliens fanfic. Monsters vs. Aliens is an animated film, and this fanfic would be set only a few months after its ending (please ignore the post-credits scene, it's just a joke really, not meant to be taken seriously). There is a TV show spin-off, but it's awful and ruins all the characters, so please ignore it entirely, I treat it as non-canon. If you want to watch anything else from the franchise, I recommend the Halloween special "Pumpkins from Outer Space", it's fun, it's half an hour at most, and it's the only thing from the franchise that I accept as canon alongside the movie.
My request is this: Susan Murphy/Ginormica, whose height is canonically 49'11", gets abducted at night by aliens who are 5000-foot tall, all while she's sleeping! The aliens manage to abduct her to their spaceship without waking her up. When she wakes up, she sees herself in a place filled with insanely gigantic objects. She also sees the aliens towering over her after they arrive in the room she's in, probably a lab. At some point in the story, the aliens will explain that the lifeforms on Earth are ridiculously small, making her a "giant" on Earth, but that even her size is still ludicrously smaller than most complex, intelligent lifeforms in the vast majority of planets in the universe. So, Susan/Ginormica being a giant is really a "normal fish in a small pond" situation, or maybe I should say "small fish in a very small pond" situation. The aliens are benevolent and mean no harm, they just want to learn about Earth. The aliens take her to their planet.
A few months later, they return her to Earth, and she explains to her monster friends everything that she went through, and we see how they react. This would happen only in the last chapter. I really recommend that you watch the full film before writing the story, since it will help you have a good grasp on her character and make you confident in how she would react and what she would think and say for every possible situation. Throughout the story, she would get to have full conversations with the aliens and also interact with many of their gigantic objects, such as cups perhaps, (maybe even having to escape gigantic alien mice and gigantic alien bugs in some moments). It's also note-worthy that these aliens are many more times bigger than her than she is in comparison to a normal 6-foot tall human (because they are 100 times taller than her, while she's over 8 times taller than a normal human).
The major theme for this request is the relativity of size and power. Susan/Ginormica has been used to think of herself as a giant for some time, though it's definitely not something she brags or is arrogant about in any way. But such a massive role reversal would still definitely be so shocking and make her think a lot, even after all the madness she went through in the movie. Again, I advise you to watch the film first (I think it's 90 minutes long or so, definitely under two hours), to make sure that your writing is in-character. While I wouldn't say that the film is amazing (it's far from being great, and some of the humor is pretty embarrassing, and the animation itself isn't great), I love Susan's character so much, her empowerment arc and how she adjusts to the craziness of her new life! Besides, I think Susan's character would be a great foundation for the story concept I'm suggesting to you, this whole role reversal and how everything, especially size and power, is relative!
It would be nice if you watched the Halloween special "Pumpkins from Outer Space" too, just to have a full idea of what Susan's life after the film is like, but it definitely would not be required, only the movie really is necessary.
If you accept writing this request, but would rather do tweaks to make it more to your liking (such as maybe in the initial scenario of Susan/Ginormica first waking up and what she sees, or maybe if you want to make the aliens be hostile instead of friendly), then please feel free to do such tweaks and tell me. So, do you accept to take this request?

With Satoru being sprawled all over the apartment's couch, Suguru had to settle for the floor. Clad in a thin cotton shirt and some basic black shorts, he was still sweating bullets. The white haired man above him was in a similar outfit; just missing a shirt.
"Ugh... Suguru... Do something about the heat...! I think I'm about to melt..." Satoru whined, covering his eyes with his arm. A pout was slowly forming on his face as he let out a dramatic sigh.
Suguru merely groaned in response, shaking his head. "The fuck you want me to do? Become God?" He questioned and raised his upper body to look at his best friend. Hopefully more than that soon. The crush he developed on Gojo has been growing day by day, even after years of friendship he still refused to confess out of fear he'd ruin something that was already good enough.
Satoru was still whining about the heat, doing everything he can to get rid of that annoying feeling of overheating. Burrowing his face into a pillow until it got too hot, trying to move some air towards his face with his hands, basically anything he could.
The purple eyed man was watching him, just not the way you'd expect. His eyes trailing down from time to time towards Gojo's abdomen before he snapped his eyes back to his face and his actions.
A sigh left the man's mouth as his expression fell into a subtly amused one at the other one's dramatic acts. "We can get mochi ice cream." Suguru offered.
Blue eyes met his, Satoru's expression brightening into a toothy grin. "Really? It's a date then." He said as he got up from the couch and sprinted towards his room for a shirt.
Geto's eyes following him, a quizzical look on his face. "A date?" He mumbled under his breath but shook his hopes out of his head. Gojo couldn't have meant it that way. Words were just words at the end.
The two set off for the nearest convenience store to search for the snack they mentioned earlier, considering the one they usually went to had run out. Satoru checked that personally.
Arriving to one, the pair sighed in relief upon the building's AC hitting their bodies, the subtle freedom of some freezing air giving them some time to breathe properly.
Gojo headed straight towards the frozen section, Geto following close behind. They found their desired dessert not long after they began their search. Satoru's eyes twinkling as he held the dairy above him, going as far as to kiss the packaging and whisper words of praise.
"Seriously?" Suguru asked, his head tilting to the side with a smirk on his face. "Dirty talking your ice cream?" The white haired man ignored his teasing remarks and stuck his tongue out at him. "What, jealous?" He retorted as he watched his best friend's reaction.
"Oh, you wish, you little shit." Geto responded, his eyes narrowing. "You probably can't praise as well as I do." He challenged. Satoru seemed to take that almost personally.
"You wanna have a competition, pretty boy?" Gojo questioned, the two falling into their usual banter, the hints of flirting never faltering between them.
After a while of arguing they finally went to checkout, grabbing two packets of mochi ice cream, which Satoru would end up eating almost whole, him also paying for the sweet dairy.
They left the convenience store and began ripping apart the packaging, begging for some relief from the horrible heat. A short walk to the park was imminent as they fought for who gets the strawberry flavored mochi.
"Sugu...! Pretty please... Let me have it..." A change of strategy from Satoru; instead of trying to pry it out of Geto's hands, chosing to whine his way to Suguru's heart along with a pout on his pink lips.
Geto grumbles at his antics but relents at the last minute, shoving it into Satoru's mouth and rolling his eyes. "There you go, fatass," he mumbles as he crosses his arms.
The white haired man noticing his partner's sulking, that Suguru tried to hide, thought about what to do. This could be his perfect chance for a confession and a potential first kiss.
He leaned in, his hand softly resting on Geto's increasingly flushing cheek. "Sugu... Don't be upset at me." Gojo begged, inching even closer. Purple eyes seemed to focus on anywhere else, trying to avoid the moment. He still thought he could be taking the wrong signs of Satoru's behavior.
"Just keep the mochi, Toru." Suguru mumbled, his cheeks the color of a ripe tomato. That only seemed to spur the Honored One and he closed the remaining distance between the two.
Geto's lips were soft against his, probably due to the amount of chapstick Suguru uses. Those enticing lips have been calling him for years, and only just now does he get to claim them.
The mochi seems to travel from Gojo's mouth to his 'best friend's', melting and leaving behind a sweet, sugary taste.
The kiss continues for a little while before they pull apart for air, gasping and realizing just what had happened. With Satoru's hand in Suguru's hair that he let down from its bun so he could find the soft locks and cling to them and the other holding Suguru's cheek to hold him still.
They stare at each other for the longest time, still stabilizing their breaths, letting the action sink between them.
"So, um..." Satoru begins and looks at Suguru expectantly. "Can we do this more often?" He asks with a hopeful expression, batting his eyelashes to further try to convince the man in front of him.
"Are you asking me out by fucking mochi?" Geto asks with his eyes widened in disbelief, wet lips parting, almost like he wanted to continue but thought twice about it.
After collecting his thoughts and feelings he nods, the Honored One almost jumping up from joy as he pecks all over Suguru's face and settles lastly on his lips, leaning back with a loud 'pop.'

You stumble into the kitchen late at night, unable to sleep due to the last mission leaving a negative impression on you and your sleep schedule.
Everything went wrong the very first moment you stepped onto the new planet the Hunters were exploring; declared criminals you had to hide from the authorities for hours and then try to find a believable disguise. Kafka didn't give you the intel that the local police knew of you and your crimes, along with the Stellaron Hunter's motives and members.
Back to the present, you try to search the shared kitchen for any snacks or anything that could resemble a meal.
Unfortunately for you, the kitchen looked like it was raided by a starving family of four and licked clean from any food. With a sigh you turn to leave the kitchen, head to your own room, maybe fall asleep while your stomach begs for food.
However, as you pass by Silver Wolf's room you notice a faint glow under the door.
She was probably gaming and lost track of time. A soft smile grazes your features as you slowly open the door to remind her to get some rest for tomorrow, considering she has a short mission in Penacony.
The sight in front of you surprises you.
Silver Wolf is playing one of her multiplayer games, winning while beside her sits Blade, battling a bit with the controller and probably miles behind Silver Wolf. They don't hear you come in, too engrossed in their game and quality time.
Blade did mention having trouble sleeping, along with his promise to play with Silver Wolf a few games. With the recent events in Planarcardia, no wonder they wanted to play as soon as possible.
You lean against the door and watch them in silence, Silver Wolf standing up, barely taller than Blade sitting and boasts about her victory with a triumphant expression on her face. Blade simply grumbles a soft, "Congratulations."
All of the missing snacks seem to be right in front of them; stacked for the night and up for grabs.
SIlver Wolf turns behind her and notices you, her smile growing even further. "Hey... Wanna join us?" She asks, gesturing towards the screen and a free controller.
You glance at Blade, who's cheeks seem to flush a pinkish color as he turns back towards the screen to hide the blush.
You close the door behind yourself and make your way towards them, sitting down next to Blade. He leans a bit closer to you. "She dragged me here. I couldn't refuse," he whispers, offering a kiss to your forehead as an apology for not getting into bed with you earlier.
You shake your head as you grab the controller Silver Wolf hands you. "It's okay. What's most important is your happiness." You mutter back to him.
Silver Wolf rolls her eyes at your guys' antics and starts up the game again, probably beating both of you by a great margin. She's just happy you two are happy and you can all spend time together.

With a heavy sigh you place the pile of documents right next to the other ones on Luuk's desk, wiping your forehead from the effort it took to move the files from the other side of the infirmary to this one.
A smile on your face as he looks up from examining a report and looks you over. "Tired?" He asks, already reaching into his pocket to pull out one of his oldest tricks; offering a piece of candy.
You nod a bit in response and laugh quietly at his usual strategy. "Mm, am I like the rest of the students here to only get some sweet?" You question as he raises his eyebrows at you before the corners of his lips turn up. "Now, now... What happened to my strong, tough assistant?" He teases and pockets the original reward he wanted to give you. He leans back in his chair and gives you one of his charming grins.
"Still right here, just exhausted and craving some affection." You answer as you cross your arms, your expression shifting into an expectant one.
He appears to take the hint and gets up from his seat to walk over to your side and wraps his arms around your waist. "My apologies, sweetheart. I can't deprave you of my attention for too long, hm? Otherwise you'll get a bit feisty." You merely sigh and return his embrace, your hands resting at his nape. His boyish charm never once faded.
"What can I say? I do have the most brilliant and handsome doctor to call my boyfriend..." You say with him laughing at the implications. "You think I'm the most handsome man ever?" He asks with a hint of disbelief, an airy laugh in his voice.
"Why wouldn't you be?"
He seems to blush a bit at the words, kissing your forehead to hide the pink spreading across his cheeks. "Huh. The prettiest being I've ever rested my eyes upon called me handsome." He murmurs as he tugs you a bit closer to him. You rest your head on his shoulder and let the comfortable silence swallow you both.
