Commission for Darkdragon -  His character getting corrupted and turning into a latex assassin in the dark of night. The more he uses the latex, the more enticing it gets to use.. Hmm, can't think of anyone else suffering from that same delightful kind of curse ;) Naturally, the idea for this was right up my alley!

I've had this question for a while, but why does things like animations cost so much? I understand first time costs for programs and stuff but not everything else.

Traditional (hand-drawn style) animation takes an incredible amount of time, so much more than normal art, because you’re repeating a drawing tens and hundreds of times. If you’re looking at 30 seconds of animation at 12FPS, that’s over 350 frames, and even if you’re very proficient in your software and using all the tricks and tools of streamlining your workflow, drawing all of those frames is a massive, massive time investment! You don’t really realize how hard it is until you sit down and try it. And if you have to make a living from freelance and have bills to pay and a certain $ per hour you need to make...well, it is what it is!

The animation you were asking for funding for a little while back, did t reach its goal?

It did not! But I appreciate all the support it got and everyone who pledged. In the future I might try more crowdfunding animations again :)
