 aka i’m too lazy to format 

      eyes widen imperceptibly  ,   he raises his hands in defense .  the lady may be very cute  ,   but she   does   happen to be pointing a very sharp sword at him and looking like she knows how to use it                       (            he can have her on the floor in maybe twenty seconds if he needs to    )

      eyes flicker over the room and her as he licks his lips       portray nervousness      and figures that her left foot isn’t placed properly, and the closest window is open. if he does fight, he’ll go for them.        ‘uh, ’   he tries,    ‘ please dont. ’

     larrikin has never been a particularly huge fan of   VIOLENCE.     ‘  wait     wait, i’m one of the good guys, promise. ’     he grabs for what to say     ‘ uh       valkyrie cain told me to stay here ? the girl with skulduggery ?   ’

         Tanith looked at the man for a moment, but lowered her sword slightly. In the past few months she’d been more cautious around people, due to the whole being possessed thing and not remembering a good couple of years of her life. (It came back in flashes, however brief, and sometimes it caused her nightmares, she’d adjusted, but she still was afraid to sleep some nights.)

“Why?” She was defensive, but that was only fair- she wasn’t sure if the man in front of her was someone she’d hurt, during the time she was a remnant, who was looking for revenge. “And who are you?”

my favourite thing is disappearing for like half a month due to mental illness and then being anxious to come back but heyo here i am. wassup it’s ya pal leksi. ;; i’ll probably get to replying to things later today but on the Upside i might be getting medication soon so maybe i’ll be more active. it’s hard for me to have muse for my chars when i feel like shit lmao

     He’s annoyed, brow wrinkled with indignation, but only for a moment before he remembers once again that oh, yeah, everything he told her during those years is gone. Good, bad… None of it he gets to keep, same as her.

     “Don’t much like bein’ back in the South.” It may be where he belongs ( no soil feels more like home, no little particles of earth in any drove of dirt call out to his body like that of the Texan plains ) but any time above ground there is hell all the same, even in a car with a pretty lady and all his limbs attached. “I told you this. Before. I’m just focused, is all.” He misses talking too; how he wishes he could go back to making snide comments and avoid her curiosity altogether.

         Had he told her this? He had. Her memory of this was faint, but not for any other reason than she probably wasn’t paying much attention to him at the time he did mention it.

         “My bad,” Tanith had to refrain from making her reply snarky, after all Sanguine was clearly agitated by their current place, and she didn’t want to further agitate him. Despite how funny she found it when the guy was irritated, even if it was at her. (The last time he’d gotten irritated Tanith had taken the liberty to comment ‘you know, you’re cute when you’re angry’, his reaction had been priceless.)
