Thursday

Yesterday was alright really.

Pissed down rain early but then cleared up.

I had to drag gym equipment around and then reverse the tractor around a pile of firewood and get off a few times to drag the back end to a different position and such but eventually got the main lawn cut. What a saga.

There is still 2 tonnes of firewood out there. I don't think they are going to come collect the first tonne. In which case i should be good for the next couple of years lol. However at some point it will need to be moved out of the carport cos it's untidy.

Played some guitar but nothing new that i try to record this week is quite working for me so... eh... keep at i guess.

Push day coming up. I'm kinda improvising on Thursdays lately.

I feel like it got colder while typing this.

Remind me to go post my census.

Weds

Yesterday was alright, man. Trained legs with the local one, chopped some wood, played some guitar.

Today will be similar with a little chopping and some guitar but i will get the lawns done too since it hasnt rained in a little while.

Of course there is 2 tonnes of firewood blocking the tractor so i'm going to have to move some gym gear and reverse it through the gym to get it out ffs

Got a few ideas coming together to work on in the music room after all that.

And mailing my census forms off I guess.

Tuesday

Yesterday was an acceptable sort of day I guess.

It is very wet and soggy outside so not much outdoors has been happening.

Local one is coming for legs day a little after 9 as usual.

I will probably chop some wood and stuff after.

Started a new recording of an idea I came up with circa 1992 I think... recorded a version of it around 2009 which no longer seems to exist so i thought I'd do a new one. Sounds terrible so far. I will keep working on it probably.

We'll see what else man probably not a lot.

Monday

Home as of about 4:30pm yesterday. Everything seems to be intact.

Dreich weather. Better that I'm not driving in it.

Man i posted my "sports nutrition haul" photo in a facebook group and surprisingly two actually qualified dudes were like "ok this is actually good, because..." and then one dude who's only profile picture is a drawing explained to me that I should only eat beef and organic rice or some such nonsense. Why are they like that?

Back in the gym shortly for chest and stuff.

Didn't train all weekend so should be raring to go.

This weather is not super inspiring though honestly.

Friday

George Michael was right man getting out of bed is nonsense it's cold outside but warm in there. He was wrong about the depraved activity in public toilets though just so we're clear.

Gonna do a quick back day and then load up and head to the suburbs.

Got lots of good mulch for my mum's garden. :)

Thursday

Failed to get up on time this morning for some reason. Not that it matters a hell of a lot.

Yesterday was fine. Actually really nice weather for the season. Trained pretty well. Guitar playing is pretty good currently as well.

Today i'm training some PUSH stuff and then a big tidy up of the house.

Music too obviously.

Will go to the suburbs tomorrow I think.

Wednesday

Yesterday was acceptable. Weather wasn't especially bad for winter. Trained legs with the local one. A little guitar. Kept the house warm as I now have ample supplies of firewood. Went and got mulch to take to my mother's house probably friday.

Absolutely pissed down overnight and i could hear my gutters overflowing but hopefully it's just because SO MUCH rain all at once and not because of a blockage. Hmm.

Currently blasting the RCAC.

Back day first up in the gym.

Need to go to the store for a pizza and possibly other items subject to inventory check.

We'll see what else man probably just music though.

Tuesday

There's still some fire in the fire this cold morning so that's one benefit of having real firewood instead of off cuts for sure. Although honestly I wouldn't say i was any warmer in here last night. Comfortable though for sure.

I hope it becomes a nice day the place smells a mix of smoke, mouthwash and the french toast I made yesterday. I am back on the French cuisine I decided. At least until i run out of the eggs my friend gave me.

Yesterday was alright. Weather was way better than expected. Got the replacement load of firewood. Had to stack that up which took an hour so extra activity level. Did some guitar after that.

Legs day coming up with the local one.

Monday

Highly satisfactory weekend (other than shit performance at deadlifts) with getting the fruit garden nicely mulched in the glorious sunshine.

Also have been playing my red Washburn guitar a little after doing a little set up (I absolutely never do my own set ups) on Friday night and it came up an absolute treat. To my absolute bewilderment my (now late) father pulled me aside one day circa 1991 and took me out to a guitar store and told me to choose one and this is the one i chose. I think it wa 600 bucks so not exactly "high end" but one of those "wow this is a good one" guitars that are somehow just better than they are supposed to be. Would be worth much more now because "vintage". Anyway. Fun playing some of the songs I wrote on it, on it, again.

Chest day and stuff coming up in the gym.

Weather is rapidly deteriorating we'll see if there's much opportunity for anything else.

Sunday

Yesterday was GOOD there's a MASSIVE pile of quite good bark mulch left by the Austnet guys which is officially UP FOR GRABS and so since it was a nice day i mulched all around my fruit grove area. I need to do a little more today, which i will. While it's still nice.

Should probably tractor the main lawns too.

Deadlifts first. Won't be going nuts though. Probably.

Likely to freeze to death of the coming few days so if so... it has been nice knowing you all.

Saturday

Brrr.

Hmmm no headache though.

Yesterday was an acceptable day. Trained, went into Foster to pick a book i had ordered, went to the op shop and found another book for 3 books. Really lovely old (1984) book i remembered from my school library with illustrations and such. "Legends Of Valour". I think i have a new appreciation for such things at this age. Like the work someone has put into writing and illustrating and the layout of this book, before (probably) it was all done on computers. And these days probably done via AI. Ugh.

Firewood situation remains unresolved I am sure to freeze to death.

Usual stuff for the rest of the day I guess.

Friday

Hmmm day three of headache in the morning.

I thought i had a handle on this by... oh wait i stoppped doing the thing. Stopped doing an electrolyte drink in the afternoon. Hmm

But i also suspect it's from pre-workout. This was the one pre-workout that previously did not give a headache. Hmm.

Cut wood and the played a bit of guitar yesterday that's about all.

We'll see what else man i may or may not go on the warpath into a spiral of rage over this firewood situation.

Thursday

Ooooh girl, my mood has TANKED after peak creativity and stuff early in the week.

Probably not helped by abysmal weather yesterday although today is looking brighter at least.

Significantly disgruntled about that firewood not being any use. Now i have to... either phone up and complain and force them to come remove it and issue a refund? Move all 1 tonne of it around the back for storage until next year? Leave it all sitting there in the carport all untidy for 12 months? Aquire more for the rest of this winter? Or just use the RCAC? Fuck sakes.

I see Gary of Gary's Economics has rage quit. That's how i feel after Insight & Four Corners running pro-orthorexia specials and the world of nutritional science basically descending into farce via the Nova system. I do not know why i have bothered the past decade quite honestly.

2nd day of headache and all.

Oh well.
