Jax is getting on Gambit’s last nerve. Caine makes a horror adventure, much to Gambit’s dismay, for the one circus member who disappears whenever it’s adventure time. Kinger becomes sane, revealing some personal lore to Pomni and Gambit, before regaining his insanity when the lights are on. Caine has a surprise for Gambit!

Checkmate (Caine x reader/oc)

Gambit can’t remember much from her time before the circus, but that’s normal, right? She’s a pawn chess piece who has been stuck in the circus for way too long. Yet, while the others want to find a way out, she is content to go on adventures and have tea parties with Bubble and Caine. The others warn her against getting too close to the AI, but she’s known him the longest and knows she can trust him.

PLEASE NO SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9 - I will remove this when I watch it
