Upon entering Tarkie’s room, Meileen immediately plopped herself on his bed. “Ooooh, do you fancy her?” Meileen asked in a teasing tone before rolling her eyes at Tarkie. “You see yourself as just a guy who likes to do theater, but I see you more than that. You’ve got a lot of potential in you, Grandpa.” She said before smiling warmly. “Setting bias aside, if only I’m into theater and performing, I would kill to be your leading lady in every show.” Meileen looked at Tarkie sincerely before flashing him a comforting smile. “You have to stop thinking so low of yourself. The fact that you’ve won this cold heart of mine is enough piece of evidence that you’re as perfect as I make you out to be.”
Tarkie rolled his eyes as he threw his bag on his side of the room, his roommate doing a vanishing act for the last few weeks. “I think she’s a nice person.” he said without trying to show too much interest. Tarkie sat down next to Mei, smiling softly. “Thnaks. You know I try to be confident.”
