Hello and welcome to the Tarlos Weekly Prompts blog - This is a blog that was created to post weekly prompts, challenges, and more for our favorite couple Tarlos! Suggestions are always appreciated and can be sent to the ask box or DMs! We also have an 18+ discord server that you can join! Message me to learn how!

How this works:

Every Sunday a prompt or challenge will be posted. Creators have until Saturday to create and post their work.

The work has to be Tarlos centric but can include other characters.

All work must be properly rated and have appropriate warnings.

Accepted works: fic's, moodboard s, fanart, gifs

Please no content that contains incest or glorification of topics such as sexual assault / rape / suicide etc. (This topics may be written about seeing as Tarlos are first responders but please refrain from glorifying these acts.)

Prompts can be used for series, chapter fics, etc. For example if you are writing a chapter fic and a prompt fits into the story you can use the prompt. However, the chapter for the fic with the prompt needs to be posted the day the prompt is due.

Weekly Prompts will be posted on Sunday at 12 p.m. EST

Hello all!

Just a reminder that I run a discord server for Tarlosweeklyprompts (though you don't have to write for the prompts to be apart of the server!)

The server is to allow people to connect and access a different side of the TarlosWeeklyPrompts tumblr blog. Members of the discord will have a chance to suggests prompts, share their work with each other and get feedback if needed. My hope is to create a fun space that has a sense of community. I want to allow for a space where people who love and enjoy Tarlos to create with no judgement and make friends along the way.

Almost everyone is welcome. If you are under the age of 18 the discord is not open to you but you can still participate in safe for work blog prompts on tumblr.

You do not need to be a part of the discord in order to participate in the prompts that are given.

Hello and welcome to the first event of 2024 hosted by Tarlos Weekly Prompts. This even focuses on the 1 year wedding anniversary of TK and Carlos! Their anniversary is 5/16/23 (that's the day the show aired and until we get told otherwise is the date I will be using for the anniversary).

This event will run until May 16th. All things created for the event needs to be posted by then and will (hopefully) be added to a masterlist that can be reblogged. There will be a variety of prompts to choice from for the event (listed below). As always, if you have any questions please ask me! I hope everyone has fun with this!

A check-in and announcement

Hey everyone! I know it's been a minute since I've been around and longer since I've posted prompts. I want to first say I am so sorry for just stopping without any warning. Grad school got rough and my job is even more rough than that, I didn't have the mental energy needed to keep up with this blog the last few months. I also had feelings that I couldn't post the prompts that I wanted to and there was some negative talk that just impacted me and I needed a break. It was a good break and allowed me time to distance myself from fandom spaces in a way that I needed and helped me realize somethings and I was able to deal with some complicated emotions surrounding fandom in general. Everything is good now.

That being said, I am back and planning some fun things. I've decided that I am going to go back to how I was doing the blog in the beginning with only one prompt being posted each week. I tried to hard to cater to everyone who was pushing me to post more than one, to have fun themes every week, and I burnt myself out trying to do what everyone wanted me to do. So, it's going to be one prompt a week unless it's a special occasion.

I will start posting weekly prompts again starting in June when I go on summer break (I'm a teacher so it's easier for me to start this up again when I'm not working 40+ hours a week). In the meantime I would love to hear from you guys!

There will be a special wedding event happening in May to celebrate Tarlos being married for a year!
