Long story short, your family kicked you out. Whatever. You couldn’t care less! You’ve always been the black sheep of the family, and now you’ve got to go out on your own just like you always planned. You work odd jobs to make ends meet, but you never seem to get ahead.

Traits: Slob, Evil, Freegan

Aspiration: Beach Life

Career: Odd jobs only

Rules:

Complete the Beach Life aspiration.

Start on an empty lot with 100 Simoleons. Hard mode: Start as a teen.

Marry the first adult Sim to rate you 5 stars for a job. 

Max the fishing and fabrication skills.

Your only friend is your spouse.

(Has this been done before? It’s probably been done before. But now I’m doing it.)

so I LOVE storytelling in the sims, and I love legacy challenges because following a single family is SO fun for me and watching townie families evolve as my family goes on is just as exciting. The one thing I’m not a huge fan of is how a lot of legacy challenges set out specific traits and storylines for players to follow, when my favorite part of the sims is figuring out sims’ personalities for themselves. SO.

I wrote my own challenge with a little less structure, just to allow players some more storytelling freedom (but still have some goals to chase). This is a NINE (9) generation challenge, based off of nine gems, all of which are collectable in base game.

is your game lacking some drama && cuteness? do you struggle coming up with your own storylines? don’t worry, i’ve got you. this challenge is perfect for those of you that take pleasure in the good, the bad and the downright ugly.

be prepared, you’re in for it. the drama doesn’t stop in this one. 

heavily inspired by melanie martinez songs coupled with some of my favorite colors, this is kind of like a berry challenge. but like melanie, we are wielding dual colors. each gen has two colors that will bleed into the next. you can utilize dual colors in multitudes of ways. you can create berry sims or normal sims, color coordinate their clothes and makeup, change up their hair colors. doesn’t matter as long as you use the two colors given to signal each generation.

tw; this challenge may cover topics that some are sensitive to. specifically cheating, death, gangs, neglected childhood, kidnapping, implied body dysmorphia.

guess who's back, back again

lol jk but seriously, guys, Hope Brooklyn and I decided that our challenge needed a little ✨spice✨ so we changed things up! Some generations are the same, some are completely different, and some just have a few small changes. The biggest one you'll notice is we changed Gen 3 from Lemon to Grapefruit and completely changed that entire generation and we're much more excited about this one than we were about the other lol. We FINALLY finished our occults portion of this challenge and wanted to release this beforehand for all of you! We are going to keep the other rules up (you can find them here) so if you like that version better you can play that one instead! Either way we hope you have fun playing our challenge and we can't wait to see your sims through #fruitylegacychallenge!

Not So Berry Legacy Challenge

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.
