Day 7 of June DWC 6/6/26

(Warning: Carnage, romanticizing villains, swearing, threat).

Horrify

I’ve encountered many a villain in my “lifetime” if you will. Used to steal from the wealthy when I was alive. Kept my cut of the money too. And yet, why are all the bad guys look, sound, and feel sexy? Pretty to look at- to get lost in their gaze and almost admire whatever body they have.

Almost.

The closest thing to a fey would be a Haranir. I mean, let’s face it. The Botani are too… woody for my taste. All that bark leaves splinters.

The Ruutani, on the other hand, they’re nice. Fragrant, even. But the way they talk is all jumbled. Such as, “This one is wise!” Please.

I had been searching for some herbs for a friend when I had wandered into Shul’ka territory. They are Haranir that can’t hear the Goddess’ song. And yet, they have Alndust, something that helps with the images and the visions. There is a reason as to why they are separated.

I had been taken by the Shul’ka as their leader looked at me, donned in a skull helm with vines nearly wrapping around his body. There were places where skin was partially showing, to which I smirked.

“Did that elf send you?” I heard a deep voice from the man who was talking to me.

“No. I’ve come to deal with your ooze problem,” I lied, unable to tell his facial expression.

“Go back to the void storm. We have no business with you yet.” He stated.

“Fine.”

I was whisked away, arriving at my destination. The only thing I hate about this place, besides the Dominar are the dog like beasts. Almost like fel stalkers back on alternate Draenor. These things, are big, scary, and they tend to eat a lot.

“Ah… It’s you, again.” Decimus, whispered.

“Shut the fuck up. You’re not shadow grafting metal onto my skin,” I replied.

“It’s almost an exhilarating experience,” he said softly.

“I don’t want to fight in the arena, being controlled by an idiot.”

“Then what to have you do… go into the forest and deal with the creatures there,” he whispered.

I grumbled as I gave him the middle finger before doing my task.

The only thought of being shadow grafted made my skin crawl. To fight an opponent or die. (Again). I did not want that to happen….

I had killed enough creatures before returning back.

“Well, now. You made it out alive.” I glared at Decimus.

“We could… forge a new weapon together…” he said softly.

“If you ever offer me -anything- I will end up killing your octopus tendrils and feeding them up that void tornado bottom you have for an ass. Do I make myself clear?” I screamed.

Decimus gulped.

“Crystal.”

Day 6 of June DWC 6/5/26

Anguish

“Ah! Anguish still lingers on you.”- Astalor Bloodsworn

I had come back from another successful hunt in the evening- had just killed a wretched: blood elves that turn loose upon the world, hyped up on too much magic and begging for more. It sickens me that they’re still around.

Astalor grinned as he looked at me, noticing the scratches and cuts I had received.

“There’s something special about this one today…” he murmured in a deep whisper.

I looked at him.

“And what would that be?” I asked, lichfire eyes boring into his.

“This anguish you’ve collected is… most exquisite,” Astalor whispered.

“But that’s what you say about every hunt I do,” I replied.

I heard a deep chuckle from Astalor.

“But this one is much more different than the others, I assure you,” he said with a grin.

I went downstairs to the chamber, my heart beating anxiously as I knew what would come next: salts, crystal, draining.

Anguish flowed out of me and into the crystal. This time, Astalor was monitoring closely. I had my hands tied with magic on either side. The flow seemed to nearly gush as I let out a cry of pain.

“Most exquisite… and quite lovely,” Astalor whispered, his fel green eyes looking over my body.

“Shut up!” I yelled, gritting my teeth.

He glared at me.

“That’s no way to talk to me. Would you rather I throw a fireball?”

I screamed in pain as he continued draining me, unable to tell where anguish ended and blood began.

Astalor had stepped closer. He was about to lean in when a chaos bolt whizzed by behind him. The blood elf looked to see a void elf warlock in his chambers.

Ozzy had come to rescue me.

“When I saw that you were late for dinner, I got worried, darling,” he stated, his fel hunter growling.

Astalor growled.

The blood elf released me as I nearly stumbled into Ozzy’s arms.

“Rest up. You’ll need it,” he whispered.

“No. She’ll stay from hunts for a while,” the void elf replied.

With a huff, Astalor had gone upstairs. “I shall see you soon, then.” He reached for me, but a warning bark from Ozzy’s fel hunter stopped him.

A smirk left him as he had gone on his way.

Ozzy wrapped an arm around me. “Come. Let’s get us home.”

I smiled, kissing him sweetly before we started for the house.

Day 5 of June DWC 6/4/26

(Warning: Mention of blood, magic, torture, pain, subjugation, death, swearing, adult situations, slightly NSFW).

Prey

Astalor Bloodsworn. I can’t stand the guy as far as I can spit. Certain blood elves are into some freaky shit. Besides the blood thistle. I’m surprised that herb still exists. The way that Astalor speaks makes me feel a little uneasy- he makes my skin crawl. And the methods he uses currently freak me out just a little. It’s as if I’ve seen the magic before in a different form. But the methods to obtain it are different.

“Miss Sweetshriek… are you listening to me?”Astalor asked, his deep voice almost a purr 24/7.

I looked at him, lichfire eyes narrowing. “What’s the job again?”

His fel green eyes looked into mine.

“I need for you to hunt a paladin for me. Their zealotry is becoming a bit of a nuisance.”

“And just where, exactly, would I find them?” I asked, slightly egging him on.

“Harandar.”

Shit. The one place I do not want to go. Full of tribal things, tribal people, and lots and lots of plant life. Literal plant life. One thing, I think the Shul’ka are badass.

I looked at Astalor with a grin, licking my lips to reveal my Kaja’mite green colored tongue stud to him. He smirked.

“Oh, come now, Miss Sweetshriek. I would think that a rivalry between a death knight and a Paladin would be fun for you…” That smirk still plastered on his lips.

“Fine. I’ll go.” I bowed before exiting out the door.

Harandar… One of the most beautiful places so far, and yet the cartographers forgot to put the roots of the world trees on the map. It’s annoying.

Eventually, I found the area where my prey was. I chased them through an area that was well known for their potatoads. Annoying creatures that screamed if you picked one up.

“Why does he have to be here…?” I hated potatoads.

I started to chase my prey through the grassland, gaining bits of anguish as I went along. A jellyfish had aggro’ed on to me as I moved.

“Fuck.”

My prey had escaped. I dealt with the jellyfish before searching anew. The Paladin was now over at the Shul’ka area. Oh great…

“Kill for me! Now!”

I heard Astalor’s voice in my head, along with feeling a surge of power flow through me- swinging my weapon almost non stop. The pressure was lifted for now as I hunted for my prey, finally getting enough anguish to have him satisfied.

Eventually, I found the Draenei Paladin. I had dodged puddles of anguish under my feet while delivering blow after blow upon him.

I was panting once I saw he was dead, that surge of power still tingling within me.

“Hmm… seems like death knights do have their uses,” a deep voice whispered. I was back in Silvermoon.

Astalor noticed the cuts I had received. The anguish. “Still, how delectable.” I glared at him as he smirked.

“Come on. You know the drill. Let me… relieve you of that anguish, my dear.” I headed downstairs to an empty chamber, using the salts when I got inside.

“Most excellent. This will dampen the effect. You won’t feel a thing. Well… hardly.”

What I saw next was almost horrifying. Magic was draining out of me into a crystal, Astalor smiled, his fel green eyes almost glowing- like he got off on magic again.

The rush was intense as I started to scream. I tried to pop an anti magic shell, but it was no good.

“Please stop!” I pleaded, panting heavily.

“Just a little more…” he whispered.

Finally, the connection was severed as I was still holding onto the crystal- my heart pounding heavily; chest moving up and down. Astalor smirked as he had stepped closer, gently removing my hands from the crystal. “You can let go now, Miss Sweetshriek,” he whispered. I looked at him almost dazed.

“Go back up to Wayfarer’s Rest and relax. You deserve it.”

I went upstairs without a word. Too spent for conversation, too weary to even smoke a hookah right now.

Day 4 of June DWC 6/3/26

(Warning: Adult situations, mention of drugs, magic, battle, slightly NSFW).

Bond

Ozzy and Tartt.

Tartt and Ozzy.

What can I say about us? Well, I can say a lot about us. We met in a nightclub under the Deeprun Tram, (A goblin knows her ways around Stormwind. I got connections). Spent all those nights being entranced and entertained by the man. And we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Every night that we spend in a lavish room is simply divine. We both tend to be a bit… naughty- Ozzy sometimes being the dominant one. I don’t mind it at all. The aura that I feel when he’s like this is simply pleasurable. A jolt of magic here, a puff of hookah smoke there. His touch is always something that tantalizes my skin. And I can’t help but be drawn to it every time; whether it’s for his tailoring skills or something devious.

But when I get dominant, it tends to be a bit more like an interrogation. Though the sounds that come out of him are music to my ears.

When we are together on the battlefield, that too is a bit of a date. And the date is slaughtering enemies- whether it’s cultists or creatures. Everything dies around us. I find it fascinating when I can hear him mutter a spell or two before firing a chaos bolt.

I love him so much and I protect him. The both of us protect each other against threats.

Day 3 of June DWC 6/2/26

(Warning: Mention of death, battle, blood)

Shock

I remember what it was like under the Lich King’s control. A tough time. Slaughtering simple farmers and citizens to Scarlet Crusaders.

I can still hear the screams in my head sometimes. The Lich King sending his death knights and ghouls to kill. Shock troopers, if you will, bringing death and destruction to the land.

Now, I enjoy slaughtering Scarlets. It’s my favorite pastime. The carnage, the blood. The screams that hear when they see the sight of me. It’s always a devious feeling. Their light fizzling out.

Now.

I heard that the Ebon Blade have been in Northrend, containing what Scourge remnants to that continent. But for me, I enjoy helping others in the only way I know how. And yet, some still see me as an outcast. A monster. Something to be feared still. Positive emotions can be fleeting for me sometimes, and then there are times when I fear that people will walk away for me. To leave me to wallow in my suffering solitude.

There are friends and allies who see the best in me. I enjoy their company at times, their comfort. Hanging out in a tavern or chilling around the hookahs having a few drinks.

Day 2 of June DWC 6/1/26

(Warning: Mention of drugs, adult situations, 21 +).

Vibrant/Disturbance

I had “awoken” to what was a pleasant morning in Silvermoon. And yet, it felt like any other day. Though I couldn’t help but wonder what today was going to be like.

“Enjoying yourself, are we?”

I heard a male’s voice that sounded close. His sigh was close to me, breath warming my skin slightly.

A void elf body was close to me. The slight smell of cologne, along with hookah smoke. I had opened my eyes to see Ozzy smiling at me. I smiled back.

“Mhm. This bed is so comfy, though,” I replied.

“Good….”

Something was wrong.

My vision was distorted and the sight of Ozzy vanished, replacing it with darkness.

My eyes snapped open as I had found myself in the void storm in a cave on a bedroll. The place itself felt cold but also felt empty.

A dominar was looking at me, tentacles writhing softly along its stomach.

Decimus.

“Ooh. That dream was exquisite. You have fine taste,” he murmured, his voice sounding alien like. My lichfire eyes narrowed at him.

“What have you done with Ozzy?” I growled.

“Me? I’ve done nothing to him,” he breathed. The breath that came out of him sounded like he had suffered a collapsed lung- when in reality, I saw a bad burn on his side as the result of a chaos bolt. This made me grin.

“He got you, didn’t he,” I remarked. Decimus glared at me.

“Never mind about that. I need you to look into killing more beasts. The population has grown again. And this time, bring me more hearts.”

“How about something else. Like more ghost flowers for you and the void elves? That’s so much better.”

He had thought a moment. While this flower was good, it also caused people to see visions and such when brewed into a tea.

“All right then, little goblin. The flower it is.”

I had gotten off the bedroll, smiling as I approached him.

“Oh. And if you ever make him angry again, I’ll add more than just a burn to your body. I know what the void fears,” I whispered.

The gasp he gave seemed to take his breath away.

Day One of June DWC 5/31/26

(Warning: Mention of adult situations, battle, blood, mention of death, mention of drugs).

Allure/Gloom

There are things in Azeroth that make me happy. Well, -a- form of happiness is the best I can describe it. Being a death knight, and all. They say that dark places can be the most alluring and inviting. Whether that’s in a tavern, a palace, or enjoying the comforts of a handsome man to warm me on those cold nights.

Soft kisses along my skin as I am worshipped by his lips. My fingers trace along the outline of his chest, a toned body rippling slightly as I smile. And the faintest scent of hookah smoke wafting idly tells me that there are still pleasures in this world that I defend. Guilty ones and the like. A soft gasp leaves my lips as I felt him press against me while tantalizing my senses in a deep, passionate kiss.

This campaigns against Xal’atath have been grueling and tiresome- the void taking shot after shot at me. But I don’t flinch at all. I have to protect Silvermoon and the other areas to the best of my ability. And yet, there is the call of relaxation that pulls me away when I feel weary. I myself cannot sleep- a comfort that is forbidden by the Scourge. A walking insomniac, if you will. And I sometimes ask… When will the fighting end?

I will not stop until the either the void is vanquished, or the light blindness I see in paladins ceases. But for now, I can enjoy the pleasurable comfort. Every night in Silvermoon with the comforts that make me happy. Hookah smoke, sensual kisses, hearing laughter, and a lovely bed.

Daily Writing Challenge 2/21/26

(Warning: Mention of murder, death, burning, blood)

Day 7- Ardor Murder

A Murderous Passion

It was a cool, crisp evening as I had made my way to Umbra Manor- a beautiful estate that was owned by the Umbras and the Springsprockets. The nighttime air had calmed my nerves as I had walked along the drive, lamps twinkling on either side of me. I had been invited to dinner and it was to be lovely.

The fog crept in as I had an uneasy feeling that I was being watched. I heard footsteps coming towards me in the wet grass. A Fel fireball came whizzing by as the figure behind me screamed in agonizing pain before being silenced by the fire.

Ozzy had appeared on the top of the steps, fel fire licking along his fingers before closing his hand and snuffing flames out.

“I hate it when unsuspecting miscreants tread along my property,” he stated in a huff.

I grinned as he opened his arms for a hug. I ran to him, embracing him.

“It’s so nice to see you again, Ozzy,” I said with a whisper.

His fel green eyes looked at me.

“It’s wonderful to see you as well, Tartt, dear,” he said softly as he guided me up the steps to the door. “Ladies first.”

I smiled, my cheeks flushing blue slightly when I entered.

Wiping my shoes on the carpet gently, I noticed a gray cat with green stripes and fel green eyes, the same color as his master. I smiled.

“Hiya, Merlin!” I whispered, getting down to his level. The cat gently came close, sniffing my hand and purring. Ozzy smiled, taking my hand.

“He’s missed you too, darling,” he whispered. The void elf then guided me to the dining area where a lovely dinner was set. I gasped at the spread. There was lobster and steak, along with scallops and vegetables. Tuna and wine.

“This is very beautiful, Ozzy,” I whispered, impressed.

He grinned. “Thank you, Tartt. Thank my father Vander for that. I put him to work- no magic, of course,” he whispered with a mischievous chuckle.

Ozzy then pulled a chair for her, being the gentleman that he was. She sat down before he pushed her in, leaning down to steal a quick kiss from her.

He then moved to the other side of the table.

“I’m so happy you’re here. The tailoring business is going well,” he explained, taking a knife and fork and cutting into his steak.

I smiled. “That’s good.” I then cut into a scallop.

The conversation then went on from talking about dancing and passing grins across the table, to the dreadful gossip of ‘business partners’ wanting to screw him over in a sense. After a glass of wine, he then walked around the table, taking my hand.

“Come with me, darling. Time to walk the grounds.”

I took Ozzy’s hand as he then made his way to the back garden area. My heels clicked as I moved along the cobblestones, enjoying the scent of roses along the way.

I then stopped along the middle of the pathway, listening.

“What is it, dear?” Ozzy asked.

I paused as I then heard rustling in the bushes. I then death gripped a foe close, raising my weapon. The man was one of Ozzy’s associates that had been fired. Fel green eyes glared at him.

“After all this time. I thought you were better. I told you to leave.” The void elf then turned his back. “Tartt, you may do the honors.”

With a slash and a few stabbing motions, I killed the man in front of me, grinning maniacally as I kept stabbing and slicing with my weapon. Blood eventually splattered across my face until I was pretty sure the man was dead.

Ozzy then turned back around after the carnage was done. He smiled as he caressed my cheek, even with the blood. “I love you so much,” he said softly. He then kissed me passionately as I kissed him back, embracing him in a hug.

Daily Writing Challenge 2/20/26

(Warning: Mention of violence, rage, killing, blood, cannibalism .)

Day 6 Useful Harm

There was something back in the day when death knights were not just scary. They were terrifying! The mere sight of one on the battlefield would make one uneasy. Especially if the allies were on the same side. A grotesque appearance, if you will. At least, that happened with the First Generation of death knights, anyway.

The Second Generation was a little… unique to say the least. Losing faith in the Light, as it were- having it ‘die’ in a sense. It would have to take a big event to trigger something like that. And then the chain reaction that followed. Scary stuff.

The Third Generation was a bit more tougher with Saronite plated armor and weapons, along with arrows that could paralyze a person in place.

I remember that day well… and sometimes I choose to try to forget it. But it won’t go away.

Havenshire was beautiful- with green grass and an orchard nearby. Farmers and lumberjacks raised their families there. But the Scarlet Crusade also occupied that area, along with New Avalon. And the Lich King wanted to take them down. Arthas’ voice in my head was like a cold, dull ice pick to my neck that would sharpen as I went on my ‘killing spree’. I even heard screams of the innocent as my blade slashed through flesh.

That following evening was no better. The Death Knights of Acherus marched upon the land as the Scourge had descended from the necropolis. A San’layn prince had given me a unique weapon to interrogate the Scarlets with. The enemy used this tactic on the Forsaken that were captured and tortured on racks. A sword that burned. It was time to return the favor.

I remember I must have interrogated nearly twelve Scarlets before one confessed. Blabbing about the “Crimson Dawn”, a vision of the Light Abbendis had. It was information well received for me.

Ghouls had swarmed the land like locusts, eating and feasting on everything and everyone in sight. As I had walked to where they swarmed, the sound of bodies being ripped apart was like nothing I ever heard. Bones cracked and teeth sank into soft flesh. Blood and fluids splattered on the cobblestones, enough to make a Paladin sick to their stomach. Clawed fingers tore through tabards like knives to paper. And then what was worse… the abominations that came afterward. Constructs of flesh armed with deadly hooks to bring a Scarlet to them. And the decay they brought with them was even sicker.

The Eternal Hunger, or The Endless Hunger. All death knights have this affliction- an addiction to cause pain, suffering, or death to our enemies. If we end up suffering ourselves, that is not a good sign. I’d go into a murderous frenzy…

That’s when people would run…

That’s when they’d hide…

That’s the side of me veterans from wars past don’t want to see…

A nearly mindless, murderous goblin…

Day 5- Shimmer

There was magic in the air tonight- I could feel it. Something was abuzz as I walked through the club, noticing different things as my heels clicked along the floor. My lichfire eyes looked around at the different dancers. Most of them were hot as I made my way to the bar again. A night elf was the bartender.

“Good evening, Tartt Your usual?” He asked as I sat down on the barstool.

“Yeah.”

As I turned to watch the dancers again, one had caught my eye. The void elf Ozzy was back at it again, dancing up a storm while the patrons put coins on stage and cheered for him. His body was slicked in sweat proof glitter, as he smiled, dancing along the pole.

After his next song, he came down from the stage- glancing at others before coming to me.

“There’s my favorite goblin rockstar again,” he purred, placing a black lipped kiss to my hand as he then sat down next to me.

I sipped my drink while I watched the dancers. Up next was Bob, a strong Kul Tiran that was slicked with oil as he danced the night away, dressed in leather that showed off his assets like he was about to burst at the seams. But he still made the routine work, though. The music then shifted as Ozzy then looked at me, his fel green eyes looking me over.

His tail swished a little lazily as he finished his drink, thanking the night elf bartender and giving me a grin.

“Come now, darling. Let us be off,” he whispered close as the warlock took my hand, leading me to another room, both heels clicking against the stone floor. Hookah smoke wafted through the hallway as I saw different people in rooms- some puffing away, some lounging about, and some just getting frisky. I think I heard a worgen at one point.

Ozzy then finally stopped as he opened a door and parted a curtain. In the middle was a hookah, along with pillows and cushions to lounge about.

“Here we are, dear,” the void elf said quietly, gently leaning down to kiss at my neck and holding me close to him. I leaned into it while his tail whipped slightly to close the door.

“We can do whatever you wish. I’m yours to command.”

I grinned as my lichfire eyes danced in the slight pink light that was overhead.

“I’ve got just the idea in mind,” I whispered, death gripping him close to have him on his knees before kissing him deeply again, tongue stud teasing against his.

Daily Writing Challenge 2/18/26

Day 4- Failure

Sometimes I wonder if I’m doing the right things, or if my helping others will be okay. I’m a death knight, and death knights can be complicated and complex. When it comes to others, I enjoy their company; sharing a drink and conversation.

But then if I fail, the tears begin and I can’t stop it. Worry sets in eventually. This usually happens because I’m the outcast- I’m the death knight that people should fear. But I fear of being a failure; that I did something bad- when all I wanted to do was help.

Silvermoon- No… Azeroth is going to need help from some of the other people. There may be tension, but I will not let Silvermoon fall. Not today. I’ll be ready for the coming storm.

Daily Writing Challenge 2/17/26

(Warning: Adult situations, 18+)

Day 3- Blur

I had “awoken” to a lovely morning in a four poster bed, Ozzy right beside me as he slept. The previous night had been a blur: dancing, dazzled by moves in the smoke, and a night of fun drinks; the leftover wine still in glasses. The man knew how to party.

The light filtered through the window as I closed my eyes to try to rest. But dark thoughts crept into my mind, the Lich King whispering in my head- like a pressure that I couldn’t get rid of. I opened my eyes again, a soft gasp leaving my lips. I turned my head to look at Ozzy, deciding to snuggle close to him. Fel torches burned nearby, the pungent smell was welcoming and I couldn’t help but be closer. My head was still pounding as a result of being hungover. I needed something to eat soon.

Ozzy stirred slightly as he opened his eyes to look at me, giving a smile as a soft hum escaped from his lips.

“Good morning, darling. Last night was… pleasurable.”

He leaned down to kiss me, his lips being soft as I kissed him back. We lingered for a moment as he opened his eyes to look at me.

“And your energy is still warm,” his fel eyes looked over my body, “But… there’s something else this morning. Something soft, and yet pulsating. Flowing. I can almost feel it.”

A grin formed on his lips as the energy shifted, Ozzy turned to shift his body slightly, sitting up and then he straddled me, his legs around my waist as the warlock was on top of me. I could see him move like water as he stared at me.

“Let me take care of you, Tartt. Then we can have breakfast later,” he whispered. He leaned down to kiss me again as I felt the soft warmth of his lips. An energy buzzed as I started to feel relief from the pain. He was taking it away as his lips moved from mine to my neck. A soft gasp left me when I felt him at my pulse point right there.

Blue energy was being converted to purple and green.

“Your aura and energy feels so good, darling,” Ozzy whispered, shuddering a gasp as he kept his lips close to my neck a moment.

I wrapped my arms around him to keep him close.

“I need your warmth, Ozzy. Now.”

There was indeed warmth coming from his body as I kissed him deeply this time.
