Tasertricks Secret Santa and Elf sign up!!!

Hello Tasertots! As some of you may already know, I’m hosting this year’s Tasertricks Secret Santa―with a twist! You can sign up to be either a Secret Santa or a Secret Elf.

What does that entail?

Secret Santa:

You will be assigned a Tasertot to make a gift for and (optional) even send nice, anonymous messages to them. Please make sure to keep yourselves anonymous or that defeats the purpose of this! You can also ask your Tasertot if they have any further preferences, maybe you’re unsure whether they like something and wish to make sure as it’s not answered on their sign up. Also make sure to sign “from your Tasertot Santa” or something to identify that you’re their Santa.

The types of presents you can give/receive:

·         Fanfiction. (Short story, drabbles, longer fic, lyrics.*)

·         Fan art.

·         Graphics.

·         Videos.

·         Other? Feel free to specify! I’ve just listed what came to mind.

*Please specify if you’re open/can do all or some.

Secret Elf:

Santa’s little Elves are, for whatever reason, unable to take part in the gift exchange and thus, instead, have the wonderful job of spreading Christmas joy! Send your Tasertot messages of joy, motivation, kindness, whatever! Heck, if you can, send them cute little imagines of Tasertricks. Like, “Imagine Darcy taking Loki to Disneyland and showing him his first theme park.”  Maybe it will bring out a cute little discourse between you, discussing these wonderful ideas. Of course, it must be kept anonymous on the Secret Elf’s part!

There’s also the scenario that you might see a Secret Santa trying to come up with ideas for their gift. Maybe you could go along there and help them! Give them inspiration.

Santas and Elves:

You each get your own Tasertot, to gift or send messages to. However, you’re not restricted to sending messages to just that Tot, you’re more than welcome to go and spread joy to anyone. Make sure not to tell anyone who your secret Tasertot is!

I’ve kept the liked/disliked themes in for Elves too, because maybe there are certain things they don’t wish to see in their ask boxes! 

  URL/Name: Url and name/alias here.

Santa/Elf?: Which one do YOU want to be?

Speciality: What YOU can do. Can you write (specify the type, eg. Longer fic, lyrics, drabbles, etc), draw, something else? Please name ALL the ones you can and are willing to do!  N/A if you’re an Elf!

Preferred gift type: What would you want for your gift? Please specify all possible wants. Fanfiction (specific type ie. Longer, shorter, drabbles, lyrics), fanart, videos, etc.  N/A if you’re an Elf!

Liked themes: Just write here themes and things you like. Things like if you like certain kinds of AUs, clichés, angst/fluff, whatever. Do you mind smut? For Elves: there may be a chance that your Elf will send you imagines or something, if there is something you’d like to say here, here is the place. If not, N/A it!  

Undesirable: Let’s face it, there are things we see in fics we don’t like. This is here to reduce that, hopefully! Background pairings you dislike? Themes you dislike? AUs you don’t like? Basically anything you don’t wanna see. For Elves: there may be a chance that your Elf will send you imagines or something, if there is something you’d like to say here, here is the place. If not, N/A it!

Deadline: 3rd December.

I should be able to get the Elves and Santas assigned soon after. Now, what I mean here with the 3rd, is that by the time I get online on the 4th I will start sorting them. I am not sure whether I am free on the 3rd.

If I am not available on the 4th, then I will keep you informed. The presents will (hopefully!) have about a month’s deadline to make, though please note that, as long as you keep me/your tasertot informed, there will be no harm if for some reason it is late.

Darcyland Fic Rec Week Day 2: “A fic that made more you aware of an issue.” + Day 3: “A fic that made you envious.”

BLUE by StarTrekFanWriter Whenever Loki shows up it means that Darcy’s life is in flux. That doesn’t mean she’s unhappy to see him.

{It didn’t made me ‘aware’ of anything in particular, but made me think a lot about the future, specially with the presence of kids, and what they change in the lives of people, even if i don’t really want to have any myself, it is still so good to see the grow of such characters in a tasertricks fanfic. It doesn’t necessarily fit in the category, but I just need everyone to know about the way this fanfic portraits life, and so many complicated situations so well, which is also why i chose it for day 3, because i’m envious of the why the writer is able to conciliate so many different states of the characters and have them stay so true to themselves all the time. It is so well written, and a very different view on the loki and darcy’s story, which i’ve never seen like it. It’s my absolute favourite fanfic of loki/darcy and i can’t recommend it enough.}

Darcyland Fic Rec Week Day 1: “A fic that made you laugh.”

FUNNY THAT WAY by LuvaGoodMrE Tony Stark had long ago accepted that his life was weird. Charmed and amazing – often terrifying – but weird. Still, this took the cake. It’s not every day that he loaned out a guest room to a funny girl who got herself knocked up by the God of Mischief.

{This was the first fanfic of tasertricks that I’ve read, and the one that made me totally love them, and it holds a special place in my heart for that. Also, it has one of the best funny scenes that I’ve read in fanfics; specially the first scene with Thor and Tony which, until this day, I cannot read without laughing like crazy.}

Kevin Feige, Russo Brothers, Marvel: Add canon Poli-sci character Darcy Lewis to Civil War

In the Thor movies, we are introduced to Jane Foster's intern Darcy Lewis, who is actually a political science student in need of six college credits, which is why she applied to the internship. As it tends to happen, this is never mentioned again in any of the Thor movies but it IS canon. Now Civil War is coming up and we think Steve would have a great ally in Darcy. She has seen at least one of the Avengers up close and knows they have the best intentions, even if all the mess they make tries to state the opposite. We think if Erik Selvig has been in both Avengers movies without Jane and Darcy, why can't Darcy appear in Civil War and show us her poli-sci knowledge?

Crocodile tears - Drabble #9

This was the last time Darcy walked home alone drunk. 

Sure, she’d had some crazy, crazy moments, but this one was quite possibly the worst and most embarrassing. And she couldn’t get out of it either. There must have been an open manhole for some reason and she could clearly see where she had knocked down the barriers. Although, why it was open at night time without supervision was super suspicious, really. Anyway, she had managed to get herself stuck. She was glad, for once, that her love of everything chocolatey stopped her from swimming with the sewer rats, but still, this was quite embarrassing, especially when you knew that, if your waist didn’t save you, the mammoth boobs would. Another reason she loved her boobs…and she kept getting distracted. Then she saw someone she really didn’t want to see. Loki. He took one look at her and a grin formed on his lips before he started laughing, the asshole! “Seriously? Help…please, I’m stuck, I can’t get out and quite frankly I’m just embarrassed,” Darcy said, almost miserably. But he was still laughing. Fine. She let it build up, blinked a few times, allowed her lips to wobble…sniffed. “It’s not funny, okay? I messed up…I said to myself I was only going to have two drinks and I’m sure I did! I just…I don’t know how I got here,” Darcy said, rubbing at her eyes. Darcy wasn’t going to look up, just in case he suspected her lies, but he had stopped laughing and if she did look at him now, she would see narrowed eyes. “Oh really?” Loki asked. He walked forward and pulled her out as if she weighed nothing; well, he was an Asgardian, after all. Loki then took her by the wrist and pulled her along. “Wait, where are we going?” Darcy asked.

“We will find the person who played a trick on your drink,” Loki said. “Oh, Loki, you’re sweet, but no one spiked my drink; I just wanted you to help me get out,” Darcy said. Loki stopped and turned to her, his eyes narrowed even more. “You cheeky minx.”

I hope this was alright, I admittedly had trouble coming up with what she’d be stuck in. 

Also, this drabble is ridiculous and unrealistic, or at least, I couldn’t imagine this ever actually happening. So yeah. x]
