Looking out the windows, Harry thanked heavens he was inside with a newly brewed cup of tea in his hands. He was sat in front of the fireplace, resting back against the front of the sofa, because sitting in it was a bit overrated. He had never liked this kind of weather. It made him a little nervous, if he was honest, but being inside and just listening to the wind and snow heavily falling against the window was quite nice. Especially mixed with the occasional spark from the fireplace. He had heard the bad weather was coming so he had stocked up on emergency food for a week, being the panic-y person that he was.

Sitting up properly, Harry looked at his husky as he insisted that he wanted to go out in the snow. “Really? You couldn’t do that when you were out earlier?” Harry told him, but got to his feet and slipped into his boots. He kept the blanket wrapped around him as he walked out the front door with his dog who set off down to the sidewalk. Calling for him didn’t help, the wind was much too strong, so all Harry could do was follow him and hope he would see him when he got to the sidewalk.

A frown spread over Harry’s features when he noticed there wasn’t just Zeus and him silly enough to move outside in this weather. There was a person in the snow where the dog had stopped, clearly known about it since he demanded to go out. Harry came over, with a bit of difficulty because of the strong wind. “Hey!” He called through to the person in the snow. He reached out a hand for her to help her up on her feet. “Come on inside. You must be mad to be out in this weather.” He told her and ushered her and his dog both with him back to the house.

Tatiana had no clue how long she stayed laying down in the cold wet snow, but after a while, she decided that now was a perfect moment to reflect on her life. If she wasn’t about to die of hypothermia, then at least flashbacks of her life would keep her entertained for a while. She could feel the hair at the back of her head, the ones not hidden under her big furry hat, soaking wet against her neck, and remembered that one time when she was 12 and her brother put a huge scoop of snow down her wintercoat. Wasn’t that how Fantine died in Les Mis?

She gave another try at getting up but her left hand gave out under the weight. Well that was just her luck, a sprained wrist. Today really wasn’t shaping up to be a good day. Hopefully snowblowers would come soon enough to rescue her from this hell, because she really didn’t enjoy feeling like a turtle flipped over. 

Help came before Tatiana expected it and she gave out a massive sigh of relief at the sight of a lovely pup pulling on her coat. The poor thing had no chance, but she expected he was accompanied by another human who then could help her out. She accepted the stranger’s hand, barely able to discern any of his features with all that snow blowing in her face, and finally managed to make it back on her own too feet. “More desperate than mad. My power went out and my pipes froze. So I had no heat, no electricity, no water and no wifi.” She tried as best as she could to dust the snow off of her but she knew her clothes were in dire need of a trip to the drier. “Do you have bandages by any chance? I think I sprained my wrist or something.” Normally the actress would think twice about following a stranger into their house, but under such conditions, she didn’t even have a single worry about it.

She had known that going outside was a very very stupid idea, and really, if it hadn’t been an emergency, she wouldn’t have done it. But as Tatiana was trying to make her way through the heavy white snow blocking the streets, not even sure anymore where the sidewalks started and ended, she was really cursing out at herself. Even a tough little Canadian like her, used to the harsh prairie winters had troubles surviving. When her power went out, she was annoyed but fought the darkness with candles and flashlight. It wasn,t until she tried to go for a cup of water and realized nothing was coming out, that the pipes had frozen, that the short brunette made the stupid but necessary decision to go out and seek refuge elsewhere. Her costar and fellow London resident, Maria, had offered her shelter and while she lived a solid 45 minutes away by foot, it was Tatiana’s only option at this point. It would be better than freezing to death with no water.

Her favorite fur hat turned out to be a real lifesaver, because with this cold, she predicted her ears would’ve fallen off within ten minutes. She was very glad for her mom’s christmas present: straight from the land of cold, heavy duty Kanuk’s boots didn’t seem so ridiculous to have in the British capital anymore. But the more the walked, the worst the conditions seemed to get. The snow got higher, making it impossible to see any possible patch of ice, and the wind was blowing stronger and stronger, until in the end it won the fight. With a particularly strong gust, it sent the small woman backwards, and as Tatiana’s feet tried to help her keep her balance, the toe of her boots got caught into some hidden obstacles. In a second, she was flat on her back, boots stuck somewhere under that white mess, phone out of reach on the ground. “urgh” she groaned, trying to get up, but finding that she landed on ice and unable to get back on her feet. “Help! Anyone?!”

I can tell you not to worry for Kira, we are not cruel enough to mess with a kid. That’s about all I can say...

Well if you liked it, then I don’t see why anyone else wouldn’t. If you say that everything has been tied down together finally, then I’ll believe you, unless something traumatizing happens to Sarah and Kira. Or both.

They’ve been my team for over ten years, so it’s safe to say that as the leader, I can’t be without them for a second when it comes to my job. Oh really? Good, that makes life so much easier. I’ll believe you for now since I’m not gonna be that one person who constantly asks for spoilers.

That’s good, loyalty is good. I think everyone’s going to like it, I liked it. I hope they will, at least. I would HATE it to be another disappointing show’s finale.

I’ve never thought about going solo completely even though I have done a few solo projects here and there. Life without the band would be pretty life-changing to say the least. Damn it, if only I could fly to Toronto and start up a campaign to bring the show back… oh well. If this season is left with cliff hangers by the end like how they shot Delphine, I’m gonna be pissed.

That’s good, I like people who think of the team before themselves. Oh well we’re filming here, so you don’t need to fly, but I promise you we don’t. I actually just got the last script and I swear every loose end is tied.

Well there’d be other options but... I get it. I’m kinda getting to that point. We’re wrapping up shooting for our very last season in, like, three weeks... what the hell am I going to do then?

What? Oh gosh, no. The band and I are still tight and we’re not gonna stop making music for a long time. I promise you this is only temporary! Then you’ll be able to have new material in no time! Right, right. We all do. No one’s ever perfect.

Okay, that’s fair then. Since I’m not doing anything with the band for a while, I probably have enough time to catch up on not just one show. Yeah, of course. Still, a lot of people admire you for that sort of quality.

I like your description and reasoning a lot more than mine. Sadly, I’ve never seen Doctor Who, so I have a shit ton to learn just from that. You know what? You’re absolutely right. It’s a lot better to hear about someone telling you that you admired them in some sort of way which is amazing. I totally get it. It’s more relieving to know you did your job right as a role model.

I haven’t fully kept up with it but I know enough to say I like it and you should watch too. Oh trust me, I’m not a role model, I don’t believe they exist, but I believe in relating to someone’s flaws and struggles as much as their qualities, you know.

Wait, is Doctor Maslany cool with you or just Doctor? You know what? I feel like the whole “one name” thing sounds a lot more legit. So yeah, I’ll just stick with Doctor. Stop, you deserve something just as much as everyone else who didn’t receive the awards. However, Viola is kick ass, so I was happy for her. Not a problem!

I feel that being in the homeland of Doctor Who, dropping the last name is appropriate, that way people think I’m a time-travelling alien. That’s nice of you to say but, I genuinely don’t care. The only rewards I need are that feeling when I get home and I feel like I’ve discovered something new about me and the human being, and when someone comes up to me and tells me what I did helped them connect in a way. That’s really... all I care about.

See, I did not know you were one on Parks and Rec. That’s a little bit more evidence to your actual abilities, so yeah, I’ll actually count that one this time. I do! I watch it in my down time when I’m not recording anything in the studio, and it’s pretty damn good. Also, you were completely robbed of the Emmy last year. The whole thing was just bullshit.
