Please be safe out there Arizona. While I’m grateful that we have many kinds of freedoms, the facade of “independence” (as a country founded on corruptions and continuing oppression of its people), shouldn’t cost the wellbeing of our beautiful surroundings. Fireworks seem like an inane tradition for most of our planet’s natural wonders. I feel like we can make different traditions to maybe celebrate more safely. This recent wildfire wasn’t caused by fireworks,(caused by a vehicle I believe, still under investigation), but it’s a heart wrenching reminder of how easily people’s inconsiderations affect more than themselves. . PLEASE READ... Greetings and all the love and well wishes to everybody. Especially those out working, or protesting, or dealing with illnesses, or oppressive atrocities. My heart goes out to all. Regarding my tattooing hiatus... I very much appreciate everybody’s patience. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the wonderful people who I’ve been able to help and have supported me throughout the years. As some of you know though, why I got into tattooing back in ‘08, was unfortunately in the wake of a slew of major respiratory conditions and surgeries... My college efforts back then fell off the table when I had my first Pneumothorax (lung collapse). To shy away from a long story though, I ended up having a total of 4 separate major lung collapses... Even throughout the struggles of recovering, I dove in head first and tattooing became my passion. Though many of my health issues are much better now, I’ve always struggled breathing and frequently rely on an inhaler. This makes wearing a mask as much, even more difficult to breathe. On top of my hospital ptsd and lack of decent healthcare, I’m very reluctant to risk it yet. Many people are in similar circumstances or worse though, so I digress to my gratitude for how fortunate I really am. You all have been so amazing and I can only hope to live up to the love you’ve shown me. Those of you who have unfinished work or are looking to schedule anything new, I want to assure you that I will be back. I am only on hiatus. I will return when things are safer for everybody. It’s just tough to estimate a timeframe when our government continues to prove its ineptitude. I’d love to say I’ll see you soon, but if they can’t even compensate for their embarrassing abuse and manipulation of power, then it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel for issues like everybody’s wellbeing. This pandemic has shaken everybody across the world, yet alongside the madness, I’ve seen so much love, and I greatly hope to continue siphoning that to everybody. I’m smitten and can’t express enough how appreciative I am for @goldenruletattoo and everybody’s support and understanding!
