y’all if you have Spotify and thought speak now tv production sounded off, turn off audio normalization. Audio normalization brings all the sounds of a track to the same volume/consistent levels, which if you know speak now, you know there’s lots of levels and layers to the instrumentation and vocals. I turned it off and I swear it sounds more like the original album production again.

I just want to keep boosting this because tbh I was a bit disappointed with the production on Taylor’s version and never considered it could be the audio settings until this. and it’s a very stark difference, at least on production-heavy tracks like haunted. it’s very relieving to get that sound/feeling back.
