i think when she said the line about her reputation being bad she was using it as another piece of evidence that joe REALLY likes her although she "can't make any promises" about what will happen in the future of their relationship OR what the tabloids will say about her/them

back to the archer though, when she says "i cut off my nose just to spite my face" its a metaphor for self destruction aka self sabotage aka her sabotaging her relationship

AND when she says "i've been the archer i've been the prey" she could be meaning that she's been the person getting dumped and the person dumping someone else but in this case it felt like the universe was making her cut ties with joe as if she was being dumped and dumping his simultaneously
